Chris Powell makes a super substitution. Yann Kermorgant has the game of his life. Chris Wood scores to make us look half decent. Referee has a shocker. When we're looking like scoring we concede. Nigel Pearson refuses to bring on a striker. We concede a screamer. We're in a slump, make no doubt. Changes needed. We look absolutely shattered.
Not looking too rosy down here i'm afraid. Shows how much of a difference 3 games make in this league though. When you had your January slump we made up no end of ground and 2 defeats (and a weekend off) for us has pretty much ruined that.
Leicester. . Watford .. Hull City all to beat Cardiff. Thought Leicester would have thumped Charlton.... They were terrible at the KC... All to play for still...
I'd want us to both go up, too. If we get into the 2nd spot i'd be fully behind you going up with us and i'd hope you'd feel the same. After all thats happened over the last 3 years or so i've developed a respect for Hull.
This is a great league - every game is a potential banana skin and nothing can be taken for granted. Blackburn looked fairly decent but totally lacking in any forward threat and, apart from one 25 yard shot in the first few minutes, I don't think they managed a shot on target. I think we'll all end up on the wrong end of surprise scores between now an the season end and it's still difficult to predict final league places.
Loads of points to play for .. I hope Both our Clubs go up. IF we finish second I hope LcFc Finish top
Funny, funny League this is. Throughout January, we took a slump, and Leicester looked nailed on for holding second. All of a sudden, there's a switch in form, and there's a 9 point gap between Leicester and Hull. With Cardiff slipping up, I'm hoping City capitalise and start reeling 'em in. I honestly believe we can win the title. For moral reasons, I would like Leicester to go up too (My late old man) but I think it's going to be Cardiff, Hull and Watford that go up.
I think Barnsley are unbeaten under their caretaker manager aren't they? Us and Cardiff have lost one this month, so I think the Manager of the Month award will be between Zola, Bruce, Mackay and Flitcroft (Flitcroft may well win it too). So far anyways There's obviously the rest of the month to go.
Barnsley have 16 points from a possible 18. Millwall are bottom, 1 from 18. It's almost like they lost their star player. I really hope Bruce or Zola wins it.
