Not so long back, bruce stated that he was looking to sign up all the loan players. and many agreed with him.

But now things have changed and that ain't gonna happen.

So whats your take on them now. On performances and would you really want to buy ANY of them.

Wellbeck.
Elmo
Ned
Mensah
Muntari....that one's done.

Wellbeck. Only if deal can be done but not another loan.
Elmo. Deal done.
Ned. Dont know, would not be heartbroken either way.
Mensah. No
Muntari....that one's done.

Welbeck, Onouha yes I'd take both all day Welbeck was scoring before the injury and looking a very good player. Onouha I think will be put back into his preferred role as CB and with games under his belt will become a very good CB for us. Elmo I was a bit sceptical about has done nothing to show me he's the "Egyptian Beckham" but, for what we paid for him an okay squad player.
Mensah no thanks, I don't doubt his ability as a player and on his day looks world class but those days have been few and far between this season. I said last season we should get rid due to his injuries and that hasn't changed.
We could see from his second game that Muntari was not the player we were told he was, average at Pompey and the same at Inter good to know Bruce eventually saw it as well.

Elmo, deal done? not yet, but do you want him to sign?

Not for me. He cannot defend because he is frightened of physical contact and pulls out of challenges when the opposition show commitment; he cannot cross a ball with any consistency; his positional play as a defender is poor; he does win the ball in the air but he cannot direct it with accuracy and frequently gives the ball back to the opposition. He can beat defenders with his pace but rarely uses the ball well in his final pass.

Would like Wellbeck but as Cypruss says only to buy not a loan
Elmo as a squad player
Onouha yes but not at the price they are asking i think we could get better defenders for that money
Mensah No but if we do go for him it has to be pay as you play
Muntari can't understand his lack of effort and if its true about turning up late we don't need that if he'll accept £300 a wek then yes lol

Wellbeck...we wont get him, much as we all would like it to happen.hope I am proven wrong.
Elmo........fast but thats just about it.
Ned.........depends on the fee, how about Hutton?
Mensah....too knackered.
Muntari....that one's done. [good]

I would take Elmo, Mensah and Onouha.

If Mensah is 2mill, we might aswell get him as he knows the lads and seems happy in the area, hes good cover. Same with Elmo.

onouha hasnt played too well of late but id rather have him than hutton as he can defend and attack. Hutton can only attack and he cant afford to have a truely attacking full back who cant defend.

I get the feeling you aint a fan fender, just a guess mind

Elmo n Mensah - for the money being talked about to make the deals permanent YES
Onuoha - anything less the 7million I'd snap their hands off
Welbeck - if on a permanent deal or loan to buy then yes (its not our job to cultivate fergies youngnz)
Muntari - flattered to deceive, tho think people are being a bit harsh when looking back over his time at pompey. You dont go to Inter for 16million euros plus if you havnt got something and for me from what i can remember he was pretty useful. Think it was worth a gamble, especially with him only being 26.

i have some info for you all

welbeck - a deal is almost done to bring him back next season but with a recall clause in his contract.
mensah - was about to sign a deal but his attitude towards nedum and young laing has persuaded bruce to cast him aside and he wil no longer be signed
nedum - we have offered £5m and are not budging on that, so balls in man city court, the player himself is very happy and told my source he feels at home
muntari - as i told you straight away the deal is not dead, its just felt that at the terms we agreed at start of the loan, hes not worth it. so a bit negotiating and hes ours still

Elmo, Ned & Welbeck if the prices are right

I would sign Mensah to if the 1m price is true if not he can go

Why anyone would want Elmo is beyond me. Doesn't score and never looks likely and a terrible crosser of the ball, proven by the lack of assists this season.

Welbeck; I wouldn't want any player that Ferguson would want to sell at this stage of his career; simply on the basis that if he was any good he would keep him. Few youngsters leave OT and achieve much elsewhere. Bardsley may be the exception, but that's it.

Mensah; way too injury prone.

Onouha; yes.

This is factually perfect.

He does have potential to develop though, as he's pacey, comfortable on the ball, and the quality of his delivery has improved markedly already.

We'd see our money back if we moved him on, so he's a yes for me.
