If the Spivs are Spurs, then it will be them. No chance in hell do we (NUFC) ever look like winning a trophy :(

Is the Europa League a proper trophy now you're in it?

If the europy thingy counts, then maybe the Spuds, otherwise it's probably going to be us (Arsenal) when the board finally have the sense to sack Wenger.

It's only English clubs who don't take the EL seriously though, Spanish, Portugese, Dutch and German clubs all make it a fine competition because they take it seriously.

The EL is a tough competition to win.

Look at what happened United against a team that was not good enough to win it. Every year English teams and CL exits go in and come away empty handed most years. So much for the strength of the prem, Spain dominate 1st and 2nd tier.

Though if you ask me, if a manager can get the players up for a EL group stage game he has motivational skills<laugh> They need new crazy rules like if you score an overhead they throw 4 footballs on to the pitch in a multiball mayhem spell until all but one ball leaves the pitch or ends up in a net. Or if a keeper keeps three consecutive sheets he gets to wear giant novelty gloves for the next match:)
