Junior Hoilett nearing Queens Park Rangers return?

Queens Park Rangers winger Junior Hoilett could return from a hamstring injury for next weekend's Premier League encounter with Manchester United.

The 22-year-old has been out of action since his side's surprise 1-0 win at Chelsea on January 2.

"Junior is fine and has been training with the lads all week," R's manager Harry Redknapp told the London Evening Standard "He's been full on and it will be a boost to have him available again."

Meanwhile, striker Loic Remy is expected to start full training next week following a groin problem.

He's been a big disappointment this season, hopefully he'll justify his fee with a storming finish to the campaign...

Hope we don't have another Dyer on our hands.

He's been sh*t like most of them this season. I wouldn't play him unless he proves to Redknapp in training that he's got some fight in him.

Harry wouldn't play Cisse because of this and rightly so. He won't play Hoillett either if his attitude is similarly as bad.

Hoilett and Samba were Blackburn's standout players of last season and worked their socks off to try and keep them up
What happens to these players when they put a hooped shirt on?

Too right, Gimme. I was so chuffed when we signed Hoilett. Storming last season.. if he fires he could change things for the better for us.

Hoilett seems a bit of a fragile character - perhaps Big Chris will steady him.

I think having townsand and hoillett playing on the wings and being able to swap sides will be key to opening teams up for the rest of the season. Or presinally i would like to see a 4-4-3 with hoillett ,Townsand and Remy up top.

Would be nice too field 12 players but reckon 433. with 451 when we dont have the ball. I would like a 4231 with tarbs, Hoilett and Townsend swapping around with Remy up top.

That's a very good point - could give him some added stability while he tries to find his feet.

I think, strangely, it might be a benefit to an attacking player to have missed the last few weeks - remembering what you're good at in training rather than being embroiled in some of the fraught and frantic recent matches (which may have played some out of form a bit).

But we don't know his attitude is bad so why assume it*??

None of us know 100% the ins and outs of particular players but it has been floated a number of times that Hoilett's attitude is suspect.

Hughes momentarily let his guard down once as I can recall and Harry has indicated it a good number of times. When asked a couple of months ago specifically about Hoillett, Harry answered: no-one should be annoyed with not getting in the team. If you can't get in a team bottom of the league the problem lies with you. I'm not directly quoting because it was a good time ago but it was words to that effect.

To be honest Jack, injuries aside, if a guy with his undoubted quality wanted to force himself into such a sh*t team, he'd have done it long before now.

But that's just my opinion!
