Stephens + Mud = No Service.

    Anyone posting from the game?

Did they play 'Walk Like An Egyptian' in the build-up? <laugh>

Meyler header, cleared off the line by Jacko.

    Hull dominating so far.

If Waggy played and scored you would claim that justified playing him. Jacko has just kicked one off the line which is equally as valuable.

As for Green, he is history. If he had an future here they wouldn't have tried to unload him onto Swindon. Wilson has been one of our most consistent players. If he hasn't been at his best last two games. it could have been a touch of 'flu or a slight knock he has now overcome. Who knows?

Playing away to the no.2 team in the division it is not surprising that CP favours more defensive option in midfield and is trying to snatch a point.

Getting hammered by the sound of it on Soccer Saturday, wish Powell would play some attacking football, when we attack teams we look good, when we sit back he get undone. Does not seem to learn from his mistakes

We've had a bit more pressure on Hull in the last few minutes.

You must be listening to a different commentary. Not so on the one I am listening to.

According to Soocer Saturday weve had to clear one of the line and its been all Hull, and we are "clinging on". Wouldn't be surprised, our form is up and down like a yo-yo over the course of every 90 minutes we play

Fuller wrongly booked for diving when he was actually fouled. The ref has issued a frightening number of yellow and red cards this season.

He can't have been dropped for playing badly, must just have been The Doctor using the squad with a bit of tinkering.

    Text from the game -

Wish I had a sofa to watch this from behind. Scary stuff. No threat, barely a chance. Pitch terrible, ref not much better. Where's Waggy?

Nothing. CP just wanted to strengthen the midfield when we are playing away to the second placed team in the division. Was working fine, too, until Hamer messed up. You cannot legislate for that. It was not as if we were being pressed back. In fact we were having the better of it at the time and it came from their first corner after 33 minutes.

As the commentators are saying, Hull's only tactic is to spread the ball wide to their wingers, which is why our full-backs need help. If Hull had the ability to attack down the middle we might be doing a lot worse as our CM is not up to it defensively.

You can pick who you like in the outfield, but if your keeper bungles routine crosses you are going to struggle. Not really having a dig at Hamer. He has done well enough over the season as a whole to justify his place.

At least we have options on the bench to attack more if there is still only a goal in it with 25 minutes to go. Knowing CP he won't go too mad too early. It is not as if we are being outplayed. 50/50 at worst.
