Assuming Remy doesn't start, but Onuoha and Hoilett are fit, what would your team be against Swansea? I think Harry will probably go with Taarabt up front with a 5 man midfield, which would be understandable. This would be mine: -----------------------Cesar---------------------- Onuoha/Fabio----Samba-----Hill-------------Traore -----------------------Derry---------------------- -----------------Jenas------MBia------------------ Mackie----------------------------------Townsend ----------------------Taarabt--------------------
can't argue with that, looks a good team and Hulk Hogan has tipped us to win which tips the balance..
I think if we attack too much at the liberty we'll get hammered mate. I'd take a point now, although I do agree that we need to be going for it much more now. Almost nothing to lose. Maybe Hoilett instead of Mackie to make it more attacking?
I thinks thats pretty much as Arry will play, for me though I'd be more aggressive - --------------------Cesar---------------------- Onuoha----------Samba-----Hill-------------Traore ------------Jenas\Derry------MBia-------------- Hoilett-----------Taarabt------------Townsend ------------------Booby Z\Remy --------------------- While Fabio probably deserves his place, I'd play Onouha if Hoilett is in front of him and the left should be pretty aggressive. My major concern would be the pace of Swansea attacks and who in the CM will cover them which is why I've put Jenas in instead of Derry but I wouldn't mind if the Grey Peacock started.
We set up to attack them at home and look what happened.......seems a lifetime ago, and we are better organised now, but expect us to try to continue the mean streak. Townsend gives us more threat on the break, but wouldn't be surprised to see SWP start ahead of Mackie on the right. Hoilett impact sub at best, with Remy and Zamora.
I would expect Arry to set you up pretty much as described above and try and nick an early goal as I expect us to come at you from the off tomorrow.
Definitely Remy if fit, totally agree. Real shame the injure to BZ . I'd like to see if Remy on the right, Townsend left and BZ in the middle would work. Crosses from right and left with someone to pick out, runners for Adel to pick out right and left still keeping the holding up player.
100% agree, we need to be very aggressive tomorrow - who cares about a single point. Townsend impressed me a lot last week and Hoilett is a similar typ of character strong on the ball. Would rather see Fabio instead of Onuoha as he showed his skills recently. My guess for tomorrow: 2 - 1 victory
Hoillet has only just returned to training, he won't be fit enough for a start i wouldn't have thought!
---------------------cesar------------------- onouha------- samba------- hill-------- fabio --------------derry-----------mbia townsend-----jenas--------tarbs ------------------remy/mackie----------
How do you contain the Swansea passing game? I can only think we will be pressing again under discipline and look for a break: My team regardless ................Cesar.................... .......Onunha Samba Hill........... Fabio.........................Bosingwa .....Mbia.....Jenas.....Andros ...............Taarabt.................. ........... Remy .......... Bench: SWP Mackie Traore Green Granero Zamora Yes Jose is back for me and with something to prove ... My formation excluding Taarabt and Remy of rotates anti clockwise as and when required. Taarabt and Remy close down the back four of Swansea with Mackie covering Remy if he doesn't last. Chasing the game? Zamora on to hold up the play ... much more direct at the expense of Mbia or Jenas. All set pieces Samba, Hill up ... Onunha Bosingwa cover. What a bloody team we have on paper
