According to Clive Tyldesley, He was 'brave ' for saving Ronaldinho's penalty tonight, **** off, he's overrated, it was a routine save, god sake he saved a penalty, not go to war, i can't stand the media and the press ****ing over him, **** sake.

Penalty save was good, follow-up save was brave (instinctive) but brave.

If it was a city fan saying that about de Gea he would've been called bitter would he not?
The press in this country build up Hart as the best thing since sliced bread which he clearly isn't,his distribution is very poor for a top class keeper and he makes plenty of mistakes but he's young and has a good future ahead of him. De Gea is at a similar level, also has great potential but has a mistake in him like most young keepers.
The difference between them is the medias version, not helped by Neville's unfair attack on him, which looks to highlight any flaw possible
Neither will be at their peak for another half a dozen years or so but in this country the media have decided to let hart get there far easier
    That's not harts fault

Probably has but hart will be given the opportunity to improve with time
I don't think De Gea will be afforded that luxury
Still think he will be in the world top few keepers before long and first choice for Spain,he's technically very good

De Gea`s problem is that sub-conciously people are judging him against Van der sar and the great Dane when he is only just out of nappie`s (even Neville who played along-side both of them).

If SAF was planning on replacing De Gea he would have done it in January. There is no way he would have allowed De Gea to play the rest of the season if he didn't have faith in him:biggrin:

This, we would regret selling him like we did with Pique.

    Rubbish

people are judging him on his world class saves v embarrassing mistakes

    he has plenty of both

    He's got bi-polar keeper disorder.

The good side is he's capable of truly world class shot stopping. Properly %)&^ing brilliant goalkeeping.
The bad side is his mistakes and mortal terror of commanding his area are probably on a par with things you'd see from a year 5 girl's school keeper.

    He's an enigma.

I don't really understand why anyone thinks joe is overrated. He is only 25 has won the premiership and is 1st choice keeper for England. In my opinion he is one of the best goalkeepers in the league and easily the best keeper England has had since Seaman.

Joe Hart is the best keeper in the country, closely followed by De Gea, Mignolet and Cesar
