Hmm maybe in four seasons we could let you have him.. How's fabio getting on?? Alas macheda really is a crock.. As mobile as a cart horse and the skill and finesse of Gareth Barry crossed with Andy Carroll.
Fabio started off a bit slow but it now playing like hes really our player. He put in a special effort against Citeh. Id like to keep him if we stay up. He can help us take more points off your rivals.

16 billion that simply isn’t true.

For one thing Arcelor Mittal is a company not Lakshmi Mittals own peronal wealth and as I said in my previous post declared more than a billion of profit in a difficult year!! Stop chucking these silly numbers about. This financial ignorance is a pet hate of mine. The journalists smart enough to know better deliberately overlook just how obscenely wealthy are owners are. Seemingly dense fans like yourself and the Newcastle 606 board can’t get your head around “QPR have a little ground and Newcastle have a big ground…how is it possible that QPR sign players like Remy for lots of money”.

Fernandes, Mittal and co unfortunately backed the wrong horse and gave the restructuring job needed at the club to Hughes and Mike Rigg. Harry is proving more successful. Eventually what we are doing will click. Might be delayed and we may be relegated but eventually it will and remembering the ignorant, arrogant and misinformed posts, articles and comments like yours will make it even better when things do go right.

Hahaha

Seriously mate have you been reading the Daily Sport?

You evidently know absolutely nothing but headline drivel, yet I'm a 'dense fan'.

For these reasons I'm not going to argue with you about this, you seem to be a gargantuan hypocrite for starters but more importantly, there's very little point arguing with somebody who doesn't actually know anything about what you're banging on about.

$20bn - estimated debt of Arcelor Mittal.

$3.7bn - net loss ArcelorMittal 2012.

That aught to do it.

Oh look Terry 'Hardbore' is back after doing more searching on the Internet. First he looks up 'Manchester' then 'The mittals'.
You were found out yesterday now go away and make something up on another board. <ok>

How do you even know how much we offered to pay Remy to be able to confirm that you offered the same ? Oh someone at your club told you so it must be true !

I could ask how anybody knows what we offered to pay Remy, to be able to confirm it was twice what you offered (according to everyone). Oh yes, it was on all papers so it must be true.

hahaha! even if the dull one is correct, why does he care so much?

They've just closed the thread over there with a heart felt defence of this rep points thing. I just can't believe they take it so seriously.............truly they must all be 13.

Wow we're doing well though. Not so long ago ArcelorMittal had lost 16 billion. But still you better to get down to London quick(although your probably here already) run round the city and start spreading the word about ArcleorMittal. Then get on to Bloomsberg and reach a globabl audience. You can then tell them that the billions of pounds invested in shares in the company are worthless and those who can should cash out quick!!

$20bn debt- look at united's running successfully whilst having massive debt. This is a complex subject but trust me it's fine for a business to operate with debt. Not efficent for shareholders to run a company with large cash reserves. Debt number is relative to size of the company.

Companies have good years and bad years unsuprisingly global steel industrydidnt have a great year in 2012 but this isnt terminal.

Contributing to the signing of Chris Samba and Remy is not going to even register wth Britain's richest and one of the worlds richest men. So to conclude our owners have got sh*t loads of cash and are living ver much within there means.

I'm happy with the current situation of our club because not so long ago I was watching the likes of Georges Santos and Tony Scully.

Let us get on with it and you can naff off back to pretending to live in Manchester and knowing what your talking about.

Col they banned me because i called them Scottish?

Hahaha

I think we should just end it there, clearly opinions outweigh facts around here.

Good luck with your scrap, I genuinely don't wish any team to be relegated (Maybe Stoke, West Ham). I'm gonna stick with my opinion that Mittal will jump ship regardless of what happens to QPR - despite what you lot think, I'm not on google and wikipedia for my information, and I know for certain he's going to have much bigger fish to fry than QPR coming from China's direction, where his real bread and butter is.

Fernandes is a good person, I have no doubt that he would throw everything he has at your club if he was a billionaire.

For what it's worth I think that regardless of how this season goes QPR will be fine. If you go down it will be a kick in the balls but you'll get your parachute payments and the owners will throw what to them is loose change at the problem, improve the squad further and take it from there. Even when financial fair play kicks in I am sure that the Mittals have some extremely clever accountants who will be able to get round the rules. It may not be "fair" to other clubs who don't have extraordinarily wealthy backers but it is reality.

The only cloud on your horizon is IF the owners decide that they can't be bothered any more and pull out but that would be the same for every club in the league. Your model is not sensible from a business point of view and you will make huge losses but if your owners choose to throw their money away in this manner then that is their perogative. It hasn't made your club many friends as at some level people will see this as "cheating" but as long as the owners keep paying the bills I can't imagine many QPR fans give a toss what anyone else thinks.

If the owners have plans to jump ship if we go down would they really throw another £30m at the club 4 months before it, in all probability, it is relegated? As things stand, we need to trust they are in it for the long run and are being honest when they say they have a long-term vision that includes a new multi-purpose stadium in West London. So far, Tony Fernandes and the clubs other owners have been fantastic and backed the manager all the way without sticking their noses in to team selection. Unfortunately they made a mistake with Hughes but as I've said before he seemed the perfect choice at the time given what he did for Blackburn and Fulham (respectable league positions and European football). I'm sure most other clubs in the league, Newcastle and Man Utd included would swap at the drop of the hat. Our owners are not risking the club by using its money or borrowing against it, they are using their own and the CLUB has ZERO debt!!!

As for Fair Play, it is 100% unfair for smaller clubs. Is it fair that QPR have to compete in the same fair play league as Man Utd with a 76k seater stadium?? All these new rules will do is keep the big clubs at the top and ruin smaller ones. For example, we could never afford players like Samba and Remy as our 18k seater stadium could nit fund them and in turn we will never make into Europe to start earning more money to expand it.

It is totally ridiculous what UEFA are doing and the only way for small clubs to compete is to have wealthy backers willing to give them a jump start. Fingers crossed that is what is going on with us, if not and they pull out in the next couple of years, we'll just be back where we were 4 years ago!!!

Good post.
