They didn't cheat.

HMRC set their sights on EBT's as a way of attempting to get tax out a non-taxable legitimate entity. It's what they do from time to time. But, this discussion has been had at length, canny be bothered going over it again.

In 35 cases where they attempted to pay no tax they have been found to owe tax

The amount of cases strangely enough coincides with the amount of "side letters" being looked at by the LNS Commission

35 cases claiming to be EBTs were not EBTs

They knee they weren't

They cheated the tax man

I do remember a similar joke was used in the 1991 smash hit Wayne's World.

Always good to see you've your finger on the pulse Julian.

Oh dear. The virgin's porn attempt on GC is, like him, a huge failure.

Seriously, it must be ****e being you.

It sounds a hoot being you.

Not allowed to drink booze

Not allowed to eat red meat

Not allowed to go to the football

Not allowed to watch "your" team on the box

Forced by wifey to go to the theatre.

<laugh>

If all that was true it would still be better than being a virgin who lives at home with his parents <ok>

You seem to be confusing a tax dispute with SFA rules as regards player remuneration. The UTT will argue the first, Lord Nimmo will rule on the second.

I'll add the tag.

No I'm not Gambol

You're ignoring the 35 cases Rangers owed tax on

I'm linking those 35 cases to the side letters

The side letters bridge both investigations

Rangers cheated the tax man on 35 occasions at least, they are appealing for all the cases

LNS is only looking at the 35 cases involving side letters. The tax paid on them has no bearing on the case

Look there

You learned something today

If Charles Green was telling the truth ( I agree that would be a rare event ) when he said
that the tax tribunal findings had nothing to do with Rangers International, who is going
to pay for Oldco legal bill, or will they not be represented.
