A bit harsh, Maclad, though I also feel very concerned about our club. The one competitive match I saw, I was impressed for a third tier team. Then we lost 2 very influential players in one match. I personally think that the club top management has deteriorated since Baxi left and the problem lies there. And TH is no Jack Walker even though he is a NE supporter. I think to some extent that may be a value during the coming transitional period in football: players salaries more realistic. Maybe we will return to the days when the way the team plays is more important than selling replica whatnots. As for GW, he is the manager TH & PR deserve! He has got the brief from them but I do admit he has seemed very inconsistent.
If you want someone who can make a silk purse out of a sow's ear, then there is a chap doing that here at Barnet, Edgar Davids, but then he is backed by an owner who doesn't see the club as a little earner, Mr Kleanthous (hope I spelt his name correctly).

It was bleak on Saturday, Barnet, still don't think he was the right man for the job. He had a meeting with Ridders on Saturday and the Hemmings family were in attendance and were said not to be impressed with what they saw.
Feel he's on borrowed time, suspect the Coventry Trophy game a week on Thursday is pivotal, I've mellowed a bit since the original post but Donny had players out as well.
