I won't give up all hope, not after last seasons late fight back! We are however fast running out of games, the next two aren't likely to be the ones that save us, but after that we will really need to roll the dice and start playing really attacking football. 39 points to play for and only 6 behind, its not over by a long way!!!
Only six points behind but it's not just a single team we need to catch and there lies the problem. The chances of getting past one are fair to good, of getting past two less so and as for getting past three realistically not a hope in hell. Sorry, but it's reality.
Yes but we still have to play all those teams above us, the key to survival will be to do what we haven't done well so far, beat those around us and we will survive....maybe!
http://www.premierleague.com/en-gb/matchday/form-guide.html (thanks to whoever posted this link) We've gained on Villa and a single point on Wigan over the last six games despite being on a five match unbeaten run. Mission impossible IMHO.
We've gained ground even though we haven't won in our last four is another way to look at it! Very annoying that the fake hoops are on such a good run, that has to end soon though and hopefully they will slump, until we are down mathematically there is always a chance, there is still a good one at the moment.
It's not looking good, but I still believe! I remember when we lost at home to Wolves last season, all the sendings off to Cisse and Diakite, we still did it. We can still do it this season, you Rssssssssss
Its just been one thing after another Madrid. I get the feeling that we were just destined to have an awful season this year. Absolutely nothing's gone right for us. A lot of it of our own making for sure. But a lot of stuff has just been the god's conspiring against us. Its very unfortunate. Makes me depressed.
But these players all had medical histories, all of them but we still brought them and probably paid OTT for them. Where is our scouting system, why haven't we picked up some unknown rough diamond? and why didn't we go for Berbatov? - so frustrating, we really are mug punters when it comes to forwards.
Difference between us and Reading is the way we play when we are desperate for goals. They throw plenty of men in their opponents penalty-area and began to fire long centers to it with the hope someone puts them in. Somehow it has succeded superbly and they have climb higher on the table with no time. We, who dont have decent fit strikers are just trying to the ball to Adel who is trying to get by of three or four defenders.
Fernandes was far too late in sacking Hughes. The buck stops with him and him only. If QPR were a business (and it is) the shareholders would have kicked him out by now.
That is really just a ridiculous comment, think of where we were before TF and talking about getting rid of him! Yes Hughes was a mistake but he is putting money in trying to fix. The buck really stops with the players who haven't performed. Until mathematically impossible we cannot give up, yes it's depressing but got to keep the hope and get behind the team.
Don't think anyone is not behind the team MK nor should people criticize what TF has done (which is an awful lot) but what most are saying is that maybe we would not have been in this predicament if TF had seen the writing on the wall a little earlier regarding the other manager. We are all in this together but we will never all agree on any one topic.
It was the TF being kicked out that got me going, yes he made a mistake with Hughes but we also need stability so he lost either way! If we do go down will everyone want Harry out as well, sounds like a few years back when we changed managers every 6 months, I know we won't always agree and generally I'm happy for everyone to have a different opinion that's what footy all about
We're strong defensively now - surely if Hoilett, Adel, Townsend and Granero can play as well as they can - we MUST have a team that can frighten any team
Where we were before Fernandes? Maybe this will remind you: http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/0/football/14566122 At the end of the day he's an accountant and not risking anything, Loftus Road is his guarantee.
And your point is ? The key bit is 'buying out previous majority shareholders Flavio Briatore and Bernie Ecclestone' Prefer them back would you?
long way to go, lots of points to play for, when rangers gell properly and zamora gets back to fitness things will approve, just have to be patient i still predict rangers to get 38 points, by the way its a good time to play swansea, cup final in a couple of weeks time, where will there mind be, and only won 3 or 4 games at home all season back to back wins will put a different mood round the camp. trust harry
