I know it's early days but sissoko looks an absolute bargain. He was brilliant yesterday . I know we have been linked to him on many occasions but at £2 mill ? Surely he's someone who would have given us some real power in midfield and a different option.
We rarely seem to buy players who have such an impact so quickly (Suarez aside) .
Allen £15 million or a player like this ? I really do not understand why we are not looking at this type of player.

hasn't Ciise disappeared lately, so maybe clubs think its just a purple patch and the player isn't consistent enough, or don't believe him to be.

all guess work obviously.

few years ago or last season cant remember, but didn't the player say he would like to end up at either of Utd,Arsenal and us, so what has happened in that time that he has now gone to a club who are struggling to stay in the prem.

Why? Maybe their scouting systems weren't focussed on that kind of player or that part of the world at the minute. What's to say another club doesn't end up paying £35million for him in a couple of years time?
 
that's my thinking behind why none of the top clubs have not been in for him, then made it quite clear that my opinion it was all guesswork.

this is also guesswork, unless you can show me that other clubs wasn't looking at him,which you obviously cant, so we don't know if there is a good reason why they haven't, much in the same way they got BA, maybe clubs did look at him and something wasn't right.

The clubs didn't need a scouting network to know about this lad! Liverpool almost bought him for £15m two seasons ago but it fell through. There has to be a reason he was so cheap though...:huh:

You too Jenners. The assertion that the top 4 clubs always spot the bargain buys is incredibly insightful. Imagine where Liverpool would be if you were running their scouting network. You should write to John Henry <ok>

i made my comment quite clear that it was guess work, you made a comment and haven't backed it up with anything,show me other clubs wasn't looking at him.

any way i am done on this thread as you are boring me, sorry kph103 <ok> i have only given my opinion on why i think other clubs havent looked at him, cant be doing with sad mancs questioning everything i say when i made it perfectly clear it wasn't a fact

You haven't given any kind of opinion at all other than there MUST have been a reason why other clubs weren't in for him. Nonsense.

Fook me you are dim, its not like he was an unknown, he has been linked with a lot of top clubs for a while yet none of them seemed to want him.why is that if he really is a good as he looked yesterday.

The reason he was so cheap was because he was out of contract in the summer, Newcastle had agreed to sign him in the summer apparently but pushed the transfer through bit like Holtby.

Toulouse were not going to play him for the rest of the season as well so he bought the rest of his contract out himself and moved to Newcastle wanted to join the french revolution, Wenger wasn't to pleased like I think he had him on his radar.

Plus I think he is only 22/23 looks like a beast of a player but maybe not the type of player Rodgers goes for.
