I notice on the Scouse board that Rahim Sterling has been charged with assaulting a woman. They seem to be making light of this. Some even suggesting that she probably "asked for it". Do you think they would take this attitude if one of our players were charged for this offence?
If one of our players did that I'd be pretty disgusted - however I have no idea of the circumstances surrounding it so I can't really comment.
No man should ever be allowed to assault a woman or vice-versa, it is totally unnecessary and they should be punished no matter what the circumstances. It is irrelevant to me what his job is this as imo it should have no baring on it at all unless he was in the 'workplace' at the time.
You think that's bad, wait 'til the team come out to warm up tomorrow wearing "bitch deserved it" t-shirts
Yep,got a trial date and everything. Was 17 at the time, she was 27 apparently. Another scouse Rooney wanting granny pants
When the liverpool forums are full of ineundo about other teams players do you say the same? I very much doubt it.
It's what Liverpool fans do. PLUS (and more disgracefully) the stinking media back them all the way - prime example of this was the way the press tore into Newcastle fans for demonstrating against Ashley and co, WHILE AT THE BOTTOM OF THE LEAGUE - then grovelled on the side of Liverpool fans when they did the same against their American owners at the TOP end. There are countless examples of these double standards as regards Liverpool and Man U, and their opposite treatment of NUFC fans and team. But Liverpool fans did this on the subject of Suarez racism, screaming abuse at Evra, and also some young kid playing for Watford, the kid was so traumatized Gerrard was comforting him on pitch while their fans refused to point out the offending turd responsible. All the racism thing was down to Daglish's idiocy with Suarez of course. Liverpool fans are in truth no worse than anyone else in this regard. Just the whole Suarez thing influenced those who WERE. The Sterling thing and their reaction is just a continuation of what has gone before. Match that up against Newcastle fans fury at that idiot Nile Ranger's latest escapades in bother and attempted rape.....
"Hypocrisy" was the theme running through the penultimate Borgen programme last night on BBC4! You must have been watching this excellent series given the spelling!
Phil: Read my message carefully. I was making a comment on Blueman being a viewer of the excellent Borgen series as that was the way it was spelt in the subtitles. I am not a spell-checker detective so your sarcastic "whoopee" was rather misplaced!!
