American investors/owners at Man Utd Russian investors/owner at Chelsea I could go on so I miss your point yet again
Tickler, by the end of March you will have no interest looking at the top of the Championship, try 6th spot and below mate by then lol
The comments we make regarding Proschwitz are just poking fun at those Hull fans who felt it necessary to come on our board pre-season and tell us how good he was going to be He was one of your more expensive summer signings, and a couple of goals against Ipswich and a couple against Leyton Orient in the FA cup doesn't sound very effective to me... He isn't infallible, he has made some poor signings, for you and for us, (*cough* Ryan McGivern *cough*), but every manager has their duds. He has a lot more positives than negatives within his transfer history. The only important question to us, is, how much did he spend on our killer goal machine Chris Wood?
Dont forget Wes Morgan / Knockaert / Drinkwater / Marshall / CHRIS WOOD !!! lol glass is certainly more than half full
The same way as your current 3 point lead will go. Dont get too far ahead of yourselves - the payback will hurt.!!! Funny, thats what i was thinking about Lesta. Once your luck runs out your wins will dry up. Enjoy the moment.
No a dig was made (rightly so I might add) at Pearsons signing of Vardy, our 1 million flop, so I merely pointed out that our excellent signings far outway our poor ones.
Mate, I'm just enjoying it at the moment as I'm not naive enough to realise there is a LONG way to go with plenty of twists and turns ahead. I expect it to go to the last game of the season to honest. Squeaky bum time soon for all of us.
Wum-ming and joking aside, I agree. Only at the end of March will any of us have any idea of what will happen. Actually i think that the closer both Hull and Lesta get to Cardiff they will crumble like last season. Cardiff are at Leeds 2 moz and that is one interesting game. For once i hope TWS win. Lets see who are the happier easter bunnies eh ??
Just an observation - Nigel Pearson is not a bad manager but those who criticise Steve Bruce seem to overlook that he has made some extremely astute signings Aluko (free) and Quinn (beer money) being possibly the best. Like many City supporters I was bitterly disappointed at the sacking of Nick Barmby and was more than a little bit sceptical when Steve Bruce was appointed. However, his ability to spot good players, his obvious man management skills, tactical awareness and superb communication with fans and the media all contribute to his being possibly the best all round manager we've had since I started supporting City in the early 60s.
Yeah we need dirty Leeds to win that one for us. Cardiff have not had any real pressure on them yet, so if a couple of teams can get within 3-4 points of them, we will see what they are made of. I'm still concerned that if Nugent or Wood get a bad injury then we would be in trouble as cannot rely on Waghorn, Futacs or Reg Vardy to put the goals in.
I agree Gliding, ALuko was an excellent signing and I've always liked Quinn. When I watched him in the play off final v Huddersfield last season I thought you would be a good addition to have with Sheff Utd not getting promoted. good bit of business that was for you.
Don't make out like Chris Wood was a great find by Nigel, half the league would have signed him if their owners were willing to splash that sort of cash. You met the asking price (as did a few others) then outbid everyone on wages, simple.
