We might have paid a big transfer fee (which we could recoup a lot of if necessary) but he's not going to be on anything close to the £100k he was getting in Russia.
I hope this works out for you, but with Harry's reputation for bankrupting clubs I would be worried. There are class players out there that do not cost the earth, you just need to be able to find them. If you dont stay up this year, will the woner keep piling money into the club for ridiculous wages? Or will you end up the next portsmouth? Not trying to wum, just couldnt believe what this guy is on, even if it is 65k, its insane. Good luck.
BBC is reporting it IS 100K for what it is worth and they don't usually make stuff up. If you are relegated I'm sure there will be clauses that will let him be sold or a wage cut or something though.
Sure you didn't subscribe to the last to know text alert?
Wasn't that last January, and Blackburn were refusing to sell him to an English club if memory serves me right, hence his move to Anzhi. I could be wrong though!...We were offered him in the summer for £10 million and £65k a week, they've been mullered...
Unless Samba is planning on scoring from a lot of set pieces.

The good news: Samba is a world class defender and we are lucky to have got him. The bad news: in terms of team structure this really just takes us back to where we were on Tuesday evening before Nelson disappeared down the tunnel for the last time. We will need something more to stay up.
