It's on the SSN website as well.

We do need a striker - Graham was not my first choice, but he'd undoubtedly be better than nothing - let's hope MON is playing his cards close to his chest and we have someone lined up.

Hooper would be decent but I'd worry about price since Norwich have had 3 bids rejected. If I was either DG or GH, I'd want to stay at my club until the summer anyway, for the chance of silverware (Swans) or to play in the CL knockout stages (Celtic).

Danny graham will have been a smoke screen.. He's a goal scorer, no question but not a stand out striker, squad player at best and I can't see MON paying over 4m for another squad player at this stage of our development.. He wants another striker to lead the line and who's gonna bang in 20ish goals a season.. Graham isn't a 20 goal a season player..

Silverware or a few extra million in the bank....Modern day footballer = greedy Footballer. Just take a look at Qpr. Odds on to go down, players queueing around London streets for a pay day..

Lol. Classic.

He won't want 2nd tier football at 27.

This is swansea trying to be clever.

Happy to walk away now and wait till summer.

**** em both.

**** computer fannying around....

Chris Young at the Echo still has him signing for us. Says a fee was agreed overnight.

I still think he'll sigh for us. If he doesnt we've probably dodged a massive bullet.

i hope oneill has something up his sleeve or we are in the doodoo.. what happens if sess, fletch get injured. we would have whickham and noble as the only strikers at the club.. honestly if i had me life again i wouldnt be a sunderland fan haha

Here's coming here man.

On a seperate note Harry Redknapps on ssn talking about possible transfers, at work so can't watch, can anyone tell me what he's saying?

There is no way Boro will be paying 5 million for him.

As per Cest's comments, this is Swansea playing billy-big bollox and nothing more. I too hope we get someone else and tell em to **** right off.

SSN reporting that Crouch would be interested in QPR and Stoke might sell if the price is right.

Transfer merry-go-round implications:

Crouch to QPR means Jones would probably need to stay at Stoke.
Jones not going to Swansea might mean Laudrup is more keen on keeping Graham?

There are only 14 games to go this season and we are only maybe 3 wins/9 points from safety. If we can't do that then we deserve our fate.

Grahams purchase isn't going to make much difference to our position this season, if was back up support only, so I'm happy to wait until the summer for a new striker and move on.
