Not another "Who are we gonna sign??" thread, as no one knows who we will sign.

Only thing we can be sure about, as we are Sunderland - is that we wont sign anyone until the final week of the window, and big name signing on deadline day.

I disagree as I'm sure the last week of the window is after the start of the season, and he's gonna have to get some bodies in before then. Know what you mean, though.

Let's see how tight the purse strings are.

Last season we didn't spend a lot - the £13m for Gyan was cancelled out by £8m for Jones and £5m for Cana.

I think it will be much the same for next season - wheeling and dealing around what we get in from outward transfers..

With the rumours circulating ATM, lets hope that one of those outward transfers is not Gyan!

Know what you mean we've been guilty of this for years bringing players in on deadline day to sell a few shirts maybe, instead of getting them for as much of the pre season as possible.
