Do you think we will;

a) be in the play offs at the end of the season

b) get automatic promotion

c) stay in th Champ

Just to get a rough idea of what you all think.

We could nick 2nd spot but Leicester and Hull seem to be in great form this season and will be hard to beat. I think we will finish 4th-6th and hopefully go up via the play offs.

I stuck my neck out and went for automatic promotion.

We look the business now, while other teams around us are having relatively average runs (apart from Leicester). I don't think we're going to carry on winning four games out of five, but we have depth in our squad, and there are relatively few players that we would struggle to cope without, so I think we can be consistent in the run-in. We're still underdogs, but I believe that we are capable of doing it.

In a Venn Diagram there could be some overlap between a) and c). I know that's being pedantic - but I am good at that.

Being the eternal pessimist I think we will make the Play-Offs. Only to fail at the final hurdle.

Come on boys - I am more than happy to fail miserably on this one.

I like this prediction, let's hope it happens.

I think it really depends how our squad looks at the end of the window. Put myself down for play offs

True, I doubt we will get rid of any of the better players mind...

OK you are right, how about If I had said after 46 games, then it would be better right?

I think this shows how we have come along this season. Brilliant really.

Where's the spirit! You are a watford supporter aren't you, so you should know we're going up. It is Foretold,

We play both Hull and Leicester, and a certain cardiff in the run in, it could be decisive !!

Watford V Blackburn Sat 20 Apr

Leicester V Watford Sat 27 Apr

i'm going for playoffs..much as i think we could get automatic promotion, i think if we lose one of the next two games this wave of optimism might diminish somewhat. Fingers crossed...i have a bet on for promotion from playoffs or otherwise ;)

We are probably safe from Division 1?

In 2005 after a 2-1 win over Ipswich on Feb 22 we had 42 points from 33 games and thought we were safe from relegation.

Just 2 points from the next 9 games swiftly disabused us of that thought and just as swiftly relieved Ray Lewington of a job.

7 points from the last 4 games (under a certain A Boothroyd) rescued us and the rest (as they say) was history.....

Of course, it couldn't happen again - or could it?

We now have 46 points from only 27 games - a much better haul and enoghh to stay in the division with zero additional points in all probability

The only way we can now go down is with a massive points deduction
