It's all been said but I've got to chip in and say what a wonderful boost this has been for all us Jacks. And I agree that the icing on the cake would be for King Michael to also sign an extended contract. I wonder if he will do that if we can win the League Cup and get into Europe. Now that would be a statement!!

This is massive news for the club and also eases my worries linking us with 18 month loan deals for players which seemed to correspond with the remainder of ML contract (a few others also raised these concerns recently) . Well done to the board for acting swiftly. And given the words spoken by Michu, he has no interest in leaving us in the near future. Now Huw, get ML and the rest of the squad tied down.

Well we really do need the continuity these days, as we have done remarkable well considering we have had 3 managers poached these last few years! Need some stability, and loyalty from players and manager, it would help in laying firm Premiership foundations, here's to us tying King Laudrup down to a longer contract too!.............
