Innocent question... (superstition)

Hi all! Hull city fan in peace here...

Was just thinking about something that popped in my head...

If you go up this season, which seems more than likely, how will you feel about the logo and colour change imposed by your owners? The reasoning behind it was that Red is a stronger colour right? more of a winners colour?

Coincidence?

Who gives a **** we're going up?

All is forgiven?


Just thought it must be a weird feeling for some of the traditionalists among you.

Anyways good luck for the remainder of the season, at this rate you'll definitely deserve it!

I dont think anybody wanted to switch to red and change the badge to what we have now (especially the badge in my case) Some still dont and have walked away from the club altogether. Their choice. A lot though (me included), after the initial emotions calmed, could see the long term benefit to the club as a whole not just the team.
I would love to go back to blue but more importantly, I'd rather have a team to support

Good luck to you too. If we can both finish 1st + 2nd, that last game of the season will be some party

I've been watching Cardiff City since 1968/69.

Do I care abot the colour change? No bought my Red shirt first day it was in the club shop.

my main question was, how do you think those who abandoned cardiff city feel, now that you are doing very well with (or perhaps thanks to) this new look?

I don't think the Red shirt makes any difference but if you support your team, you don't care if the play in pink.

Colour means Fu*k all, it's your heart that makes you who you are.

There are some who have slowly started attending games again...albeit reluctantly. After all the smoke cleared, it is still the club they support. Some have completely abandoned (or so they say) the club and have just become abusive to those who haven't.

Circa, some fair points but the club is the club. We are still Cardiff City no matter what colour we play in.

I said at the time, if someone wants to put £100m of their money into the club and make us financially stable then the guys can play stark naked with roses up their ar$es as far as I am concerned.

What is important though is that the history remains and can never be changed but what can be changed is the future and, fingers crossed for another 26 to 29 points this season, that is what is being achieved.

I couldn't agree more, at the end of the day the club remains in all the fans hearts...

I just thought there's a lot of irony considering the change was done supposedly to instate success (red colour being seen as more successful) and it's ironically and potentially coincidentally being proven right.

Fair play lads! I really want us to go up this year but must admit that would certainly like to see a welsh derby in the Prem. That is always a great game for a neutral!

The colour change was hard to take initially but the trade off of significant funds to strengthen the squad outweight sentiment in the long term. Personally I won't be wearing red at games but never really wore blue to often. The club will always, no matter what slant others wish to put on it, be the Bluebirds to the core fans. I have to admit though the "Fire and Passion" moto is very apt at the moment.

The squad assembled this season are probably the strongest mentally in decades. Yesterdays dogged performance on a quagmire of a football field with 4 key players out proved that we are, all bar one or two additions, ready for the the step up to the Premiership.

A special shout out to all the City fans who braved the elements yesterday on a 450 mile round trip especially as the game was televised.

Agreed ITI, especially those poor lads who had clearly spent all their money on travel and tickets and couldn't afford shirts.

Never mind though they had several layers of bodily material to help keep them warm.

The same goes for our kit man Ian Lanning. You'd have thought the club could afford some tracky bottoms for him. Making him stand there watching the game in shorts. Either that or he's not that good a kit man and he forgot to pack them.
