Nothing has happened yet, so I thought I'd start another thread to save us any embarrassment.
Hull have bid 1 mill for DJ Campbell, he was crap against us...worth a punt?
...or swap for Mutch!<whistle>

I'd take him any day of the week, would get us over the line. Proven goalscorer in this league.

But hopefully Fraizer can do a job for us, when we do finally secure the deal.

Supposedly the deal to bring Fraizer Campbell in is not yet finalised, so why is Malky swanning off to dubai for 6 days surely he should be at his desk getting in the players we need to get to the top of the league !!!!!!

In his interview last night, MM said that his recruitment team was staying behind to continue working on getting players in and that he'd be speaking with them every day.

I suppose he's keen to work with the players who got us there to keep us there.

I hope Huds is fit for the trip.

Can't find any news on Huds injury, hope it isn't too serious.
Just a thought on this Dubai trip, I'm sure the medics and all the footy staff know what they're doing but... Current temperatures in UK around -1 Celcius, Dubai around +22 Celcius.
Now when I was in the army (many moons ago) whenever we went to a hot climate we had 2 weeks to acclimatise, so what is MM acheiving in Dubai, late Christmas presents!

Regarding transfers imo any that are coming in will not be here until the last week of transfer window.

Hudson should be ok according to reports and will make the trip to Dubai this 2 week break is a god send and should aid all the little injuries the squad have.
Heres to the run in for promotion and the best party the CCS will have seen in April <cheers> <cheers>

It's a jolly paid for by VT. He and the club know what they're doing. Keep the lads together and cement the bond.

It wouldn't have worked with City up till this season either. The group that Malky has built now are different. No egos, no primadonnas, just a close knit bunch that work hard for each other - it was amply demonstrated last night.

Hope they enjoy the jolly, 'cause that's what it is. They may play a few 5 a sides I suppose. :emoticon-0105-wink:

Yeah, realised that from the "players we need to get to the top of the league !!!!!! " comment. Must be tired this morning as my wittyness of response has deserted me, or as they're in dubai is that desert me.

I think it's a well earned rest and some heat treatment under the desert sun, my post was also tongue in cheek. Good to hear Huds is able to go and hopefully fit for the next game.

Norwich City midfielder Simon Lappin has left the club by mutual consent

Only Wiki update is to say he is a free agent.

In the absence of other offers which would give him more of a long term future, would we want him as our left back cover for the rest of the season? 2 games, 2 wins (1 sending off).

Striker Fraizer Campbell has completed a move to Championship leaders Cardiff City for an undisclosed fee.

Okay, he's ours, despite previous reservations, he must have our total support and, once caught a later plane to Dubai, have the best part of 2 weeks to get to know the squad.

Interesting point, a Huddersfield lad, could have his debut at local rivals Leeds, followed by another away at Huddersfield. At least he will feel at home for his first 2 games.
