So saints new manager doesn't speak English and his reward for getting sacked in spain ( managing a team to bottom of la liga) is to gain a job in the premier league.

Spammers 1-0 down.

Was saying to my housemate a while back that they are a sinking ship and will get dragged back in to the relegation fight, he scoffed at me but if they lose this IMO they are right back in it. Early to call though

They will be alright once Carroll comes back, Sam will order them to hoof it to him and they will do enough to survive

Some mentioned pardew as a replacement for arry..

I remember that thread and i got called an idiot for saying pardew is a clown that cant sustain success.

needless to say, the daft geordie fan hasnt returned this season.

I mentioned Hughton as a Spurs manager one day, have to take that one back now I think. Liverpool on the way up and Swansea looking strong. Well done Fulham for not getting a hiding,I think perhaps a form team might beat City at home. Oh woeful Newcastle but they beat us the first match of the season so I'm wary of the replay. Well done Reading on a fine comeback and woe to Stoke who like Norwich have gone off the boil. Wigan and Sunderland ? There is nothing to post and bloody unlucky Arry,I wanted you to win that. Tough matches ahead so you've a damned lot of hard work to do.

I Think you may be my favorite Spurs fan...........Certainly seem to be looking a more effective unit now we have a few forward options......Still have to do it against the big boys.....(next few weeks should define our season) If we can get some points out of Arsenal and City away we have something to fight for. If we do not, then fourth will be out of our reach for sure. (if it isnt already)

I've said the same thing for ages re: Liverpool. League position doesn't reflect it but at current you have a better team than you've had the two previous seasons.

If your board had backed Rodgers (financially) half as much as they'd backed Dalglish without a shadow of a doubt you'd be above Everton and Arsenal now, IMO.

Can't see him staying at Villa next season, especially if they go down.
QPR draw away and might actually lose ground.

Villa seem to relish playing away (like a host of other clubs). Can't help but feel impressed by their results and performances at Liverpool, Swansea and so far here. All are tough places to go to.

Just realistic Redbrynner that's all. Credit where it's due and all that. You've a chance of taking points off Arsenal and City but don't you dare take any off of us. Looks like you played your bad football at the beginning of the season which is always the best time to play it. save your best until last............like us. Cheers.

Beating you along the way! :D you're **** home form is nothing to do with league strength, as much as you'd like to hide it behind that. Its an unforgiving league at both ends, play bad, you lose!

One home win since beginning of October and still clear in 3rd. With the same points tally of last season we'd be 4th (just). League is definitely weaker :)

Any credit you want to give Chelsea whilst your in such a giving mood TMT? <whistle>

Chelsea spend £92m in the summer and struggle to win at home and teams around them drop points too, so the league's weaker? What? <confused>
