Morning all. <ok>

Is the plane banner going to happen on Sunday over the DW or over UP some other time in the future?

If so I would like to put some into the whip although getting the money pooled together from everyone is a problem. <doh>

<cheers>

Wasn't even born :biggrin:

Sounds like an 'eventful' night, would have loved to have gone to the Chelsea game in 95? always the draw i hope for in the fa cup <ok>

Went to that Chelsea game, another mental night but this time we got the result !

4th Feb 1985 - We went to Chelsea and took the piss. The best away game I've ever been to. Anyone who was there will never forget it.

Before we went out to Luton in the cup we'd already beaten Weymouth, Enfield, Palace, Chelsea and Leicester.

Remember both games,Christ i`m old! Luton - went in back of a van with a few guys after work . What can i say,it was a war zone. Chelski- met up at E&C in the afternoon great night happy days!

I remember Chelsea 85 & 95.
85 was ****ing quality - more Wall in the East and West stands than Chelski - still pride of place on my wall is a massive photo taken from behind the goal in front of the shed - you can see the scoreboard that says 89 minutes above 8,000 wall fans and David Speedies penalty going miles wide!!

I was in with Chelsea as brother inlaw took us whos Chelsea, there was me and my brother and we were surrounded, when Chelsea got the penalty i remember saying to my brother if Speedie misses for **** sake dont jump up,,,,,,,Speedie missed i lept 10 foot in the air<laugh>

that was for me one of the best away games iv been to but must say when we were in the old 1st division i never missed a game and there were some fantastic away games then,,,
also away at Hull when we got promoted watching thousands of hard core millwall skinheads crying their eyes out <laugh>

Bit gay as well as they stripped Les Briley down to his pants and carried him around the ground. Rumour has it that he was on Ringo's shoulders but sitting the wrong way round. Ask Ringo.
