This is a sign of things to come for Leeds Utd and its only going to get worse, How the **** will they cope if they ever get to the prem <laugh>
Not only will it result into a total ban of away supporters there will be restrictions on home fans too. and more stupid kickoff times...

The once mighty leeds are turning into a puppy club <doh> Bates won the court case Leeds lose millions and are in serious danger of losing their club,

Howya Mighty...doubt either of our clubs will have to worry about the prem, well not for the for see able future...

Nah Shaks. The hippies just wanted to love everyone & let people do what they wanted, rather than tell everyone what they could & couldn't do.

I know Deptford is up & coming & quite trendy, but I didn't know it was also full of transgender types as well. Amag whaou earn on this site.

Fair point Mighty. The thing is, plod can't stop people going to the ground, only getting in.

Course they can, they can do whatever they want. Not familiar with Section 27 of the Violent Crime Reduction Act? Police can stop any citizen going anywhere for any reason for up to 48 hours. It was, like all legislation, written with good intentions to stop alcohol-related violence from hurting peaceful people. But its wording is so vague that Police can use it however they like - you don't even need to be drinking or violent for them to utilize it.

It's been used against Leeds and other football fans before to stop law-abiding, innocent people getting to games. It's also the legal justification they use for the disgraceful kettling and bubbling tactics they now employ as crowd control measures for protests and away travel for 'high risk' football fixtures, respectively. They even used it to stop a busload of elderly Preston fans who were heading to a booze-free church for some sandwiches before a game away at Carlisle.

The club do need to grow some balls and stand up to the Police, but there's really very little they can do to stop the mistreatment of us and away fans, which is a far more systemic problem related to the draconian ****s that run this country.
