I don't see what the big rush is to get back to the top.

I think the 14-14-14 idea is a good one.

There already is 12 teams in the SPL meaning 4 games between most sides, sometimes more depending on the cups. Pretty sure we played St.Mirren or someone like that a few seasons back 5 or 6 times.

The fans want change and the SPL/SFA come back with a proposal for a....12 team top tier.

If they want to do something radical then go with more teams in the top division and change the league cup into a joint English-Scottish cup, that would surely boost ticket sales.

Chuck didn't propose anything but the answer to 42/3, the mechanics of it he didn't bother with.

The bit I laugh at is how he was raging over a pointless season, broken noses etc when 12-12-18 was announced but somehow thinks 14-14-14 is completely different

    He is a wum

Medro , how could Scotland change the league cup to a Scottish English league Cup.
The English wouldn't have it, I don't see how English Clubs would see mass bigger
Crowds. I just cannot understand , why a new club which isn't a full member of the
SFL, and its fans should be making suggestions .

I was presuming an 8-6 or a 6-8 split. Possibly 8-6 to maximise revenue for teams in the top half and make the games in the bottom half even more vital??

Or, given the teams in the top half are more likely to play more cup games (broadly) a 6-8?

**** knows. but it would end up either being a 40 game season for the team in the section of 8 <yikes>

....ooooooorrrrrr (and I'm only just thinking this up whilst typing) split top 2 leagues into 3 sections of 10-10-8 (or, more likely, 8-10-10) meaning an imbalance of home and away games and a 33 or 35 game league.

...or top 24 from top two leagues split into groups of 6 meaning 36 game season leaving a bottom 18 (alright can that idea).

    ....ooooorrrrrrrr.

    D'ye know whit?

**** it. Could be here a while.

Far too many teams. An honest look at it would chop teams and join others. Any switcheroo is basicaly more of the same. It's a piss poir product and without the OF it is bordering on pointless.

I am not a "new club which isn't a full member of the SFL".

I am a football fan making a suggestion.

What time of the day do you start drinking at?

Was he not saying to start it the season after next, this means Rangers would jump a "league" quicker (presuming they win Div 2...)

Why does Charlie Green bother his hard pressed mind thinking about restructuring
a league that his club are not even full members of. The membership that they hold
Was given to Sevco as a kind gesture to the tribute club of Rangers. After bestowing
out of the goodness of their heart the SFL could also withdraw that gift if they were
so minded. CG would better trying to get more money in before another Financial
    situation arises.

I would far rather Green reponds like this rather than the we'll just go to England then mentality. I think it was Paul Murray that came out with a response to Green's England statement along the lines of try and influence Scottish football instead. I think that's the way to go too. Charlie's come out with this one and already we are getting comments from some other clubs supporting the 14 14 14 idea.

I think the clubs might just possibly reject the 12 12 18 thing. I wonder where that would leave Regan and Doncaster?
