I know. Ifs and buts though. Confidence in the squad will be sky high right now and rightly so. We are hitting form at just the right time too, lets hope we can sustain it!

Yeah, if only we'd gone in for him in the summer rather than Vardy. Oh well, not too much damage done...we're back to third tonight!

There is still a part for Vardy to play off the bench. This year is still a learning curve for him, i think some people are too keen to get on players backs. What will happen if Wood fails to score for five matches. I predict someone on here will call for him to be dropped!!!!!!!!!!

Can't really see Vardy making the bench ahead of Waggy or Futacs. I think he needs to go out on loan. He's had to make a massive jump from the Conference to the top end of the Championship. If anything we probably expected too much from him immediately because of his price tag, but it was never realistic.

I don't think anyone's getting on his back, but Vardy is one for the future - we needed someone for the here and now. Wood is that man, just a shame we didn't have him from the start and got Vardy in Jan. The likelihood is us and Cardiff would be miles ahead of everyone by now.

I don't think anyone cares who's scoring the goals as long as we're scoring. Wood would have to drop in form by catastrophic proportions for anyone to call for him to be dropped!

He's been a rare blip in Nigel's transfers dealings in his new spell so far, but he could still pull it round. He's scored 5, which isn't actually that bad, still more than Waghorn.

Vardy might come in handy in the run-in I think. When the other players are a bit jaded he will be able to come back in fresh, a bit like Le Fondre did with Reading last season.

I don't think we should write him off just yet

I would loan Vardy out for a month or 2. But no more

Id rather bring on Vardy than waghorn, he runs more and is a threat. Also defends from the front well.

Yeah, Vardy seems a little more difficult to read, giving defenders a bigger job to do.

It'll be interesting to see what Pearson does. I suspect he prefers Waggy.
