As I said on another thread sell Fox end of the year, no point signing another lb and holding back Targett.
 
Signing a good replacement would be fantastic, but why let Fox go if we are forced to sign an average replacement. We might as well stick with someone who knows our style and players regardless of anyone meeting our valuation of him.

I agree with you to an extent. I think it all comes down to how much Forest want Fox. They have a lot of money now apparently and if they are really desperate for him we could get considerably more than if we waited til the summer.
 
We don't need to sell, Fox isn't worth big enough money to make it understandable leaving that gap in our squad. He's an experienced left back and is fine for a bench player so we need to hold on to him until the summer.

If Danny Fox had no future at St Mary's, and a resurgent Forest put in a genuine bid for him, it would be wrong to stand in his way. If he wants to go in order to get regular football, that is. But you're right, as it stands we can't afford to let him go just now.

I think he may have a future as a left sided midfielder, btw. Though probably not with us.

At least there was always constant news of it being on and off. This hashad nothing for about a week. And hes playing for his club today.

Whaddayamean no news? The last we heard is that Milan are finally showing an interest and they have first dibs (if the fee is right). Ever dealt with Italians in business...

Since when was Targett such a good player? I saw one article linking him with a move, why does this mean that he's good enough to play!?

I have actually watched him play and yes he is a very good player for his age.
