I can't see it ever happening...

The EPL/EFA just tcame out with a sttement saying Rangers can **** off, so I assume they would say the same to Celtic.

I can see Celtic moving to a European League in the next 10/15years but not to English football.

Can't see it happening and even if it did they would likely make us start in the Bottom Tier and work our way up. Balls to that.

Or we could just say we are happy to work our way up the leagues and then start bitching and moaning when we don't get fast tracked after less than a season in.

Seriously though, I wouldn't fancy the idea of starting in that scenario. Never gonny happen anyway, all this talk about us and newco moving anywhere is pie in the sky at the moment. And I wish the media would stop linking us with them, moves, sponsorships, old firm yadda ****in yadda.

The reason for Chuckies rant and Ogilivies alleged backing of Celtic and SEVCO leaving Scotland is purely and simply because the figures don't add up Chucky said that they NEEDED £27m from the IPO. He only got £22m, a shortfall of £5m. Old rfc turnover in their last season of existence was £45m of which £27m were wages, leaving a £18m operating cost. Most of these costs, other wages etc cannot be reduced due to Tupe. Current player wage bill is £7m, plus 700K for TFPL 360K each for Chucky and Ahmed plus other wages brings the total wage bill to approx £10m. SB revenues were in the region of £10m, but £2m must go in VAT, leaving only £8m, a shortfall of £2m on wages alone, not yet mentioning rates utility bills etc and of course the required £9m to be spent immediately on the stadium. Chucky waited for the share issue to pay European clubs outstanding debts. I reckon SEVCO will need a new share issue and a substantial one at that within 18months or so, probably beforehand.

Chucky thought for whatever reason that the SPL would invite SEVCO back next season and he would access European football within 2 years from now, allowing for UEFA not allowing NEW CLUBS to compete for 3 years.

The next share issue will not attract the institutional advantage of tax avoidance schemes such as EIS. VCT, consequently will rely on a large fan contribution......something SEVCO and rfc fans don't do.

Chucky is panic stricken. His business model looks precarious. This is why HMRC allocated the risky business investment incentives of the EIS. VCT. They knew that this SEVCO share issue was very high risky indeed.

Figures don't add up.

Celtic volunteer to give up €500k prize money a season (arrogantly assuming we'll get it) and then start talking about ****ing off elsewhere.... All that glisters is not gold.

Yeah, I understand this, despite the claims of the share issue being a success by them.
Also read in a couple of papers this morning that Rapid Vienna have received eff all money so far.

Star says Vienna were offered 60%...but that means nothing to them
Mail says Vienna have lawyered up.
Post quotes a source that maybe the statement about paying debts was someone from Celtic having a joke because they have got nothing.

I don't know what that has to do with Celtic in England though.

I am pretty sure that Chucky said on talk sport keys and Gray that they had paid all outstanding European debts.

Yip ... I'm a Rangers fans! Just because I'm not obsessed about Rangers and their finances , this makes me a hun! <doh> I actually think you're a hunposter but that's a different story!

You started a massive rant about Rangers (or Sevco as you still hilariously refer to them) and their money issues (guessing the figures involved ) - who actually cares if they have money issues! Celtic fans shouldn't give a **** !

Rebel responded but also put he not sure what it had to do with Celtic playing in England.

Celtic are already trying to distance themselves away from Rangers (seperate sponsor at last)...I wish some people on here would do the same.

Victimisation - yes, cause you cant talk about Celtic issues without having a Rangers comment!

Give it a rest sometimes will ye and lets keep this thread to Celtic in England... **** Rangers.
