'Would be like part ex a donkey for a horse' That's really not fair and anyway have you seen this 'horse' yet ? Elliot's been a fantastic servant for us and if this new guys half the player Marv was a few years back then we'll have found a good player. And to be fair Elliot's never recovered from injury. Who's to say your comment and lot of others on here won't come back and bite you/them on the rear end.
Not my comment, coppied off of the rumours site, just updating for our own fans and I show as it's printed, not just to please an opinionated few...
Sorry it looked to me as it was your opinion as you hadn't used quotation marks. Hence my 'opinionated' response.
If we are interested in signing Murray Davidson, the fact that Blackpool having just lost Appleton to Blackburn, if this report is true, may not want to do any signing until they appoint another new manager. Thus opening it up for City - if the rumour is true. PS if Blackpool carry on changing managers at this rate, they could outdo Sporting Lisbon who are now on their FOURTH Head Coach since August 2012.
Here's more from BS Central: 11 Jan 2013 18:34:37 Bristol City are closing in on signing Kyle Mcfadzean from Crawley Town for an undisclosed fee, on a three and a half year deal. They're also chasing Brentford striker Clayton Donaldson and it is thought they've put in a bid around the fee of 400,000 for the player. Mcinnes also feels they lack pace and flare throughout the team and are preparing to make a bid for S****horpe attacker Andy Barcham who can play either as a striker or on either wing. To strengthen his defence he is looking to land out of favour Leicester City defender Sean St Ledger, for a fee around 600,000. The bit about lack of pace is right!
This is not a rumour. Jake Cassidy aged 19 of Wolves spent the first half of this season on loan at Tranmere who sit two places below us as top of League One. He scored 11 goals in 28 appearances. This is the type of player we should be interested in. And also developing such talent through the Academy. I assume, his fee would be very high to prise him away from Wolves, but what about a loan for rest of this season.
13 Jan 2013 19:13:28 Shrewsbury have received offers from Bristol City, Celtic and French side Nice for defender Jermaine Gandison
14 Jan 2013 15:59:29 Tony Mowbray is considering a bid for the £3,000,000 priced Bristol city winger Albert adamoah. Boro still have the joe Bennett funds to spend on a tricky winger
