That figure sickens me, especially when you look at the ticket prices.

See the latest accounts show our wage bill dropped 18M for the year to June 2012 which included CL bonus payments.
Notice too that the accounts show that Carlo,like AVB and RDM,stayed on the payroll and didn't get a lump sum payoff and that saved us 4.7M. At least RA has learned to cut the costs of dumping managers :1980_boogie_down:

Makes our situation even more pathetic, we've got 4 managers on the payroll and are still going backwards.

<laugh>
Well only Rafa and RDM now as the others have found jobs. Maybe RDM is being held back to return and win the Europa/FA Cup double.
Now that would be nice !! Blimey can this Club balls things up ?????? We definaletly win the Gold Award for shooting ourselves in the foot, or rather feet. Rafa for Gods sake!! What were they thinking ???

With Lamps and possibly Cole off the payroll this year it looks like it will be lower again next year!

You don't think you'll replace them with high earners? Going to need to get some British players as well, or its a 16 man squad soon! Terry is supposed to outed after next season I believe?

English or Welsh trained players. Nationality has zero to do with it and British is so wrong I don't know where to start correcting you <doh>

Considering rumours have stated that we are going to offer 4m a year to Fellaini to replace the 7m a year Lampard then that saves us 3m a year straight off

Doubt we will sign another left back that would be on anything over 60k which is half of what Cole is on so that is possibly another 3m a year saved

And if we can get Torres out and brng in Falcao for a similar wage then we will be doing just fine and the 6m a year saved in wages will be good for the future of the club

Also expecting Paulo and Malouda to be off our wage bill, both probably on high enough wages as it is
