outhampton and West Brom could miss out on Sergi Roberto, with Espanyol the front-runners to take the Barcelona starlet on loan.
According to reports in Spain, Espanyol chiefs sounded out their Barcelona counterparts over a possible deal during the two sides' league meeting last weekend.
The 20-year-old, who is highly regarded at the Nou Camp, has made just three senior appearances this term and his club are keen for him to gain some experience elsewhere.
Both West Brom and Southampton have approached Barca in recent weeks to enquire about a possible move, but it appears as though Espanyol have won the race to secure his services.

Remember the boy who cried wolf? One day you will have really ace news and no one will believe you...then lamballana will get full credit.
Have to say that it's good to find someone getting a second chance. Released by Palace, then enrolling at Sparsholt and being 'discovered' by the top academy in the country. Let's keep an eye on him.
