He is a Nani-wannabe and Nani is Ronaldo-wannabe...but none of them are anything. Except Ronaldo.

That doesn't mean you didn't overrate him when you were saying he would be the difference of us getting fourth this season or not.

Like I told you then, he would be fifth/sixth in the pecking order at our midfield if we had got him.

I did'nt overate him and yes I think he would have faired far better at Arsenal.

We play a technical passing game that he could fit into quickly. I dont think he will ever suite the way Liverpool play.

Milan have accepted an 8.2m bid for Sjneider from Galatasary. SURELY he won't go there!?
He now has a price, and he's absolutely worth 8.2m. Wenger should match it and leave the decision to him. Off to the wilderness of Turkey or the dizzying heights of the Premier League :)

Ok I'll bite. Desperate for us to be gutted, matt, not gonna happen I'm afraid. He is no better than Nani, less talented and a bit of a loose cannon.

Wenger won't do it, he'll sit on his hands and bring in some no-mark from Belgium or something. The inactivity so far this window is worrying to say the least.

Wenger hinted at getting Walcott's contract sorted out before doing any other business. Reports are that it's close to being done now, so hopefully we'll see some action soon. Might be a few negotiations going on in the background, we are notoriously coy about our transfer dealings.

I don't know why any of you want Sneijder, he's been crap for a good while now. He's just living off his past reputation.

He's 28 though, so unless he's got some Brazilian blood in him, he's probably got some good years left.

Not only that but he wants somewhere in the region of £200k a week which is WAY TOO MUCH, also an AM is not a priority we need a ST/WF and a DM and a young defender ideally LB/CB

I want him as it would send out a message, strengthen the team, and provide a real boost.
Not for 200k, but he's desperate to leave Milan, and BBC says he's only on 110k. Maybe he wants 200, but he'll compromise as it gets closer to the end of Jan.
Maybe he needs a good attacking coach to reinvigorate him? If there's one thing Wenger could do, it was attack.
I'd like a DM, for definite. But Sjneider coming in would mean Cazorla could play on the wing, so a wing forward wouldn't be needed as much. It would also create fantastic options.
For 8.2m, if he'd accept reasonable wages, he'd be an absolute bargain.

I'm not sure we need Snjeider, especially given that he'd be an expensive gamble in terms of wages.

I think we need a DM and cover / competition at LB and possibly another striker. But overall this squad doesn't need too many additions. We need to be getting more out of the players we've already got.

I definitely think we need someone creative, as well as another striker. Cazorla is our creative midfielder, if he is off-form / nullified, we look weak creatively.
