Is Rafa going for trophies>top 4.

Surely he should have played fuller strength v Rangers, rested v Saints and Swansea, and full first-team v Stoke.

Is his rotation going to hinder us in our top 4, hopefully top 3 bid?

Especially with Europa upcoming, rotation needs to be spot on.

I think Rafa has got team selection wrong for virtually all our important games We have lost World Club, lost to Hammers, lost to QPR, lost to Swansea.
We have gone backwards in points in the PL, and have played piss poor football as well as the occasional good game. Totally inconsistent. Players seem to be taking it in turns to have a shocker, the very promising midfield play from Luiz is reduced to long range shots because front players never seem to run into positions to collect his passes.
Seriously underwhelmed by Rafas input. No improvement, further behind the Man Clubs, too many woeful performances. As for Torres!!!!!!!!!
Hopeless call by Roman, hopeless selections by Rafa, hopeless results for us fans. Can't wait until he's gone far, far away.
RDM must be grinning from ear to ear.

To be fair to rafa, to rotate successfully and challenge on lots of fronts you need four good strikers not two sulky ones

CP - right on all counts, except grinning of RDM - I would guess he's still gutted. Gutted about being ceremoniously dumped and gutted with what Rafa is doing.

Just how many good games have we played since Rafa has been here - against teams that have got any footballing ability? Not bloomin' many!

I just want to be able to watch MoD one night, without just deleting it before it starts. The way we are going, not only will we fail to win any silverware, but we'll struggle to qualify for the Champions League.

Gentlemen RAFA MUST STAY he is doing a decent job behind the scenes, and you would be suprised how many are behind his tactical decisions, there are both Manc clubs, Arsenal, Spurs and most of all Leeds supporters, all the best in your sad demise of a football club <whistle> <laugh> <laugh> <laugh>

I just think he thinks he is better than he actually is.

You can't blame him for wanting the job with you all as it gives him an opportunity to do well and challenge.. But I think he believes his own hype and sadly for you lot I think he will not achieve anything there.

Is he really rotating that much though? Seems to be a core of 15-16 players which is pretty much the same as everyone else. United are doing it. The difference is they have their get out of jail free card called RVP. Maybe it's an over simplification but the difference for me between us and United (and to a lesser extent City), is their strikers. This isn't FSW (or RDM) fault.

Ba has only just come so taking him out the equation, we've had Torres and a half fit Sturidge so far this season. United have had RVP banging them in - and important goals too not just a goal in a 5-1 or 8-0 drubbing. When RVP has been rested or not scored, Rooney and Hernandez have got important goals too.

No good having a great midfield if the goals aren't going to be scored. Also no good drubbing Villa 8-0 to then lose 1-0 at home against a team even lower down the table.

This aint all blaming Torres but until now we haven't really had the option of resting/benching him. Hopefully Ba will change that and he must start the next game at least.

Excellent assesment 100 yrs. He rearranges the deck chairs, but doesn't address the problem. Wouldn't mind if he played around with midfield to try and find a better mix. Wouldn't mind if we lost the odd game if we were improving our youngsters and learning more about our future. Wouldn't mind if he made subs much ,much earlier. But he does none of those things.
Sadly we are only reinforcing what we already know.

Never mind, even our demise has us running for 3rd or even 2nd spot. When we get it sorted, it will be a case of how far we win by.
