Ditto..... no reports yet I see we are linked with Brady from MU ... http://www.watfordobserver.co.uk/sp..._refuse_to_comment_on___2m_Brady_bid/?ref=rss
08 Jan 2013 10:54:34 Watford are set to sign Richmond Boakye from Juventus, breaking his loan spell at Sassuolo, for a fee reported to be around £2,000,000
Do we need more strikers, http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Richmond_Boakye ? I'd rather a really decent centre half ?
'Scun thorpe United have confirmed Nathan Ellington's loan spell at the club will not be extended. Following the arrival of striker Akpo Sodje on a deal until the end of the season, the Iron decided to let Ellington return to Ipswich Town after a disappointing two months at Glanford Park' Will any other club waste their time & money? Nothing seems to change at all.
07 Jan 2013 20:21:57 Manchester City goalkeeper Costel Pantilimon is set to join championship side Watford on loan for the rest of the season. He claims he is lacking first team action at city and was impressed by the set up at Watford after playing against them in the FA Cup. Could be handy as a spare floodlight pylon too.
Surprised though that we are prepared to spend that sort of money. Maybe we really do have to start thinking in a different way.
From our friends at http://www.football-rumours.co.uk/watford-rumours.php. 09 Jan 2013 14:24:39 I was just told that David Beckham is in London today, and is meeting with Q.P.R & Watford over possible 18 month deals? Is this true? I remember Beckham saying that he would play for Watford for his mate Elton John in his final year, but I thought that was just a joke? If it were April 1st I would still be laughing so hard I'd need a needle and thread
Not sure if I'd want 'brand' Beckham at the Vic...he is undoubtedly a good professional and role model, so if he DID come I wouldn't be too worried.
it does come up now and again, it's a strange thought! But he's considering 12 offers...i don't suppose we even make that list! lol
David Beckham is considering offers from Europe, Asia, the Middle East and South America, but will base his family in London wherever he ends up. The former England captain has been living in Los Angeles since 2007 but will move after leaving LA Galaxy. Beckham, 37, will hold a series of meetings with his advisors next week as he nears a decision about his future. The schooling of Beckham's four children is a priority but he is still weighing up offers from various continents.
i did read he'd found a school in south london for the kidlets...so i guess Merchant Taylors is out of the running!
probably. A friend of mine did that a few years ago..he's rolling in it now! Meanwhile, apparently Becks wanted a school that was used to doing with kids of famous people...can't be many of those...
