I disagree, I'd rather he waited until the end of the season and whether we're top 4 before criticising Abramovich again.
Well no but if we finish outside of the top 4 there will inevitably be people saying he hasn't done his job well enough, which in turn makes his criticism over Abramovich whilst we were 3rd look bad.
I think what he's said is perfectly OK though, YV. Saying that he was brought in for a long term plan and RA went back on his word, as well as the fact that they just sack coaches too often, is true and a fair assessment. it doesn't really have anything do to with where us or Chelsea finish up. - It's not the way to go about things and get stability. Perhaps if a manager was given more time, Roman wouldn't need to spend so much to cover up the constant instability of the managerial position?
I am sure there are 1 or 2 on here who will soon scream if Harry Redknapp continues to make snide digs at his dismissal from our club, so why it should be ok for AVB to do the same ?? Not getting at you here Roo or anyone else in particular, just saying I think it's unnecessary for AVb to bring the matter up again.
no you're right spurcat. - there is no need for it at all, but all i'm saying is that I believe he's right in what he's said. (which he shouldn't have!)
I agree with SC. He might be right about Chelsea, but I'd prefer it if he just consigned them to the past and let his results do the talking. If we finish above them again then he won't have to say anything about whether it was wrong to sack him.
That's a fair point too. I was one of the ones that didn't like some of HR's comments so to be fair I don't think I can defend AVB on this either.
Yep, before reading this I've just done an article about it on our board. It's extremely myopic in my view.
Does the Chelsea Russian know anything about football except to "buy it"? I'm sure he knows a lot about oilwells (where did he get the wells anyway. He's not a member of the old Royal family....is he?Or Putin's relation on Stalin's side?) By the way, does he live in England or Russia or ?
He was probably asked something about his time at chelsea in an interview, and gave his answer, that's what those jurno's do.Still don't see why it should bother Spurs fan's,surely if anyone got annoyed it would be Chelsea fan's,and if Levy had gone back on his word to Harry, you would hear about it,jurno's dream
Swansea 1-0 up totally against the run of play but it was a gift from Ivanovic and Michu just doesn't stop scoring.
