Morning Spuds
Went to the match last night in your end with a mate who came up to Manchester with a spare ticket. I wanted you to win, I'd rather a London team in the top four than another Manc one, esp as i live here these days.
You are a striker away from having a top four team, although Gomez has let you down to the tune of around 6-8 points this season at least...Crouch was pathetic, I'm not his biggest fan anyway tbh, and HR obviously doesn't rate Pav as he stayed on the bench.
Once the game kicked into life, funnily enough when Palacios went off and Modric moved into the centre, you were class to watch.
VDV a bit sluggish in terms of mobility, but his touch is awesome.
I rated the performance last night, shame you couldn't capitalise on your possesion in the second half...Danny Rose must have had a shake from Harry as he was lost in the first and Pienarr benefitted from a prolonged warm up at half time as he was rampant.
I would pay to watch Modric all day long, he was involved in everything, going deep to get the ball and building up the play...you need to keep hold of him without a doubt.
Some very funny songs as well, great away support
I know this may seem a bit odd from a Chelsea fan, but I'm not one of the haters.
All the best for next year
