Funny really cos as i was watching the draw i was thinking a home game against Villa would be nice

 

Shame Adam smith won't be playing,loan finishing and wood would have made it interesting.. Good home draw tho

I actually expect us to beat Villa as you know they'll put out a weak team with Prem survival their priority but Kenny will go for it putting out his strongest possible side. This has all the makings of an upset but on current form it'll be a shock for me if we lose

Can't see the club doing the right thing though to do it for a tenner like Preston to get the place packed out and rocking as Villa will **** themselves in that atmosphere

 

I reckon this is just a practice match for next year........one way the other.

 

I know I shouldn't expect anything of us after being let down over the years when you start thinking like that but we'll surely never get a better chance to take a Prem scalp as Villa are absolute pony atm, in our backyard they'll be there for the taking with the circumstances on the day.

 

They have league cup to keep them distracted as well so if we put out our best team and the players take it seriously we should have enough to get through to 5th round.

 

When this 4th round tie is played Villa will either be looking forward to a Wembley appearance or at an all time low having just lost to lowly Bradford and become the laughing stock of England, throw in the relegation dogfight they are in, i don't think another cup run will be first on their agenda, verdict they are there for the taking.
I've taken advice from a good Leeds mate of mine and the hotel at Wembley is booked

Yes! Always want a good cup run. Unless we get a good striker in to replace the goals that Wood would have got I can't see us challenging for top 6.

We're currently 17th in the form table and I think we will slowly drop down the table unfortunately. Had we kept Wood then fa cup would probably have been a distraction.

Anyone still thinking we will be up at playoff area come May?

 

I'd be very careful about 'thinking', Thai. I tried it once in Penang in the heat and got a severe case of the TIGERS. Still haven't fully recovered and have to have a regression every so often.
