Heard the Jiggaman was saying that he would welcome them back.

A hard one to call. If Miller still has his pace then I think he could be worth it.

Boyd was a lazy bastard at times but did score for fun.

Stevie Smith is a sicknote and if kept fit could do a job for us but is he any better than what we've got.

I would like to see the youngsters given a chance and bringing any of these players back will surely keep those who remained loyal to the club out of the squad.

Medro, was it not Boyd that was with Portland, or was Smith there aswell?

They were both there, but I think both of them are out of contract now or maybe have contracts expiring.

In the MLS they have a salary cap but can offer more money to 1 or 2 players per team, Boyd was one of these players.

Think I heard that before that he missed a load of chances including an open net against a team a few divisions below them and after the game Spencer got the boot.

"an open net"?? Just because you are just back from Florida and we are speaking about the MLS, the is no need to go all yank talk on us Medro! It is an open goal, always has been, always will be! ****ing open net, by ****.

The goaltender who was keeping an impressive shut out record was way out and with the Timbers losing one to zip, their MVP Boyd could have easily finished it off but punted high and wide as we approached the end of the 2nd period.
