Not sure who was claiming we have 'so many players who are good enough to get into the Real Madrid team' ? But it looks like Little Lucy's gametime might be up. If I were to offer an opinion about who from Arsenal might, I'd say Wilshere and Cazorla would go straight into a Real team - and both are better than Modric.

I can see your point here. But Sneijder was upgraded to Kaka at the time a better player, Robben was upgraded to Ronaldo. Sjneider was good for us and no Real fan would say he was not good enough its just that he was not going to play with Kaka in the first team. Eto is not a good comparison to Modric. He was very very young and all clubs can make a mistake by letting very young players go. Van Der Vaart was perhaps the one true mistake from your list as he was perhaps one of our best players but even then it is different to Modric again. All the players you mentioned except Eto who was very young played well and were moved on for what were believed better players. Modric has just not been very good unfortunately.

Erm I said we have better players than ONE MADRID PLAYER in question, Modric, were you too ****ing stupid to see that? I believe Rosicky, Wilshere, and Cazorla are all better than him.

Modric has started 8 games out of 18 in the league which suggests he gets into the Real Madrid team and you've got Rosicky, Cazorla, Wilshere and Arteta who have been listed as better than Modric. I was just taking the next step to what some have said to provide a little perspective of what the statement in effect means.

Out of that group I'd say Wilshere and Cazorla are better. Arteta is a completely different type of player and Rosicky not as good as Modric for me. I think the point made earlier is pertinent, that you don't get a chance to settle in Madrid, you're either a instant success or you're an outcast.

Did you bother reading what what I actually wrote?

The only Spurs person who said it was a £40m bid was Redknapp...who then said it was £30 plus Alex whom chelsea said was £10m.
Chelsea said confirmed this too. This was also confirmed in several papers and on several websites.

You slating me doesn't change this fact.

I'd say Arteta is probably more similar to him than the rest. Wilshere's more similar to Dembele and Cazorla is the kind of player you want on the ball in the final third.

Not what we need and dont care about what those in our shadow got for him or could have got.

I think we have far higher priorities than getting him, like a DM and a top striker if Theo moves on.
