Just outside High Wycombe
What a cheat. Using his hand blatantly to control the ball when Mansfield were pressing. Cheating to kill off a conference side. Welcome to Liverpool FC 2013. The celebration afterwards is his usual one so nothing wrong there but he should have admitted he handballed it. Blatant cheating. He knew it. Everyone else knew it apart from the linesman and ref. Shocking and proves why he is the most hated player in the league.

Disgrace and at least now commentators are calling it as it was CHEATING.

You watch the filth scouse defend him though.

I am as disgusted as the next man by 'Pool's tactics, but I cannot say I am surprised.

However, I don't see joy in the Mousers, I see relief. They know, only too well, that the weight of humiliation, had they not beaten Mansfield, would have been unbearable. As it is, a mere 1-2 victory does not exactly cover them in glory.

It should have been a draw. Mansfield dominated in that second half and Liverpool cheated them out of it. Oh well... I'm sure Liverpool fans everywhere are proud

They've already started a petition to get Champion sacked for calling Suarez a cheat. They really are bottom feeders..

furkin hell just watched it on utube, fa should do something right for a change and order a rematch.

It's times like this where I'm proud to be a Chelsea fan.

Drogba was booed by Chelsea fans for continually diving and senior players like Lampard and JT told him to cut it out as did Jose. These are the kind of people I want to have at my club. Liverpool fans would defend Suarez to the hilt.

There is defending an employee of the club you support then there's just being stupid.

I am quite angered by this and really feel for Mansfield. Cheat against Man U, City or Chelsea by all means to gain an advantage (they are superior footballing teams in all honesty) but to do it against Mansfield is a damning indictment of all that is wrong about the Premier League.

Found it abhorrent that they chanted "Your support is ****ing ****" to Mansfield fans after the tribute to the 96. No glory in supporting Mansfield I'm afraid, clubs like that are a credit ton their areas.

Did they really sing that?

I'm not so sure about that, he just shouldn't have intentionally controlled the ball with his hand in the first place. The lino should have spotted it too so deserves some of them blame.

To get some perspective though, this single incident on it's own might be bad but it happens all the time. Another example of a player cheating is Ramsey trying to con the ref to give a penalty when he knew there was not contact between himself and the defender. Is that really so different? What makes Suarez worse is that he's a professional cheater and that this one was in a game they were winning against Conference opponents which underlines his total lack of class.

they're defending him, its disgusting, its not in the spirit of the game, i bet you the Mansfield players are p(i)ssed off with him.

I agree with YV - the problem with Suarez is he has done out of order things so many times. In his defence today, if we'd have beaten Man City yesterday with a deliberate handball I would have taken it........
