I'm under no illusions that SAF will do whatever it takes in the best interests for Utd, but please don't pretend your chairman is any different when it comes to Spurs.

It was Fergie that recently said Pardew shouldn't criticise him of intimidating the referee when he's guilty of worse and you might recall that even I agreed with him! Now given that Fergie has a record of dodgy dealings in signing players it's probably best he shut the Hell up and that's why SAF's record has been brought up.

Have you got a link to Wenger saying that? Not that I'm giving any credit to Wenger's opinion, it would be like taking Mancini criticising United at face value.

The reason Berbatov's deal was accepted so quickly is because you finally offered a bid we'd find acceptable and Berbatov was on striker. The real question is, why did United all of a sudden up their offer to over £30mill when they weren't prepared to before? Probably because you got an angry call from Levy when he found out Berba was at your training ground getting a tour from SAF. It was blatant tapping up and Levy used it to get the right deal for his club, just like with the Arnesen deal. It's not similar though because SAF broke the rules(and has done several times) whilst at worst Levy has used a get around.

It's Fergie who doesn't let facts get in the way of a good rant and your red specs that allow you to try and twist what we're saying.

Our chairman is an astute trader but not a bully who considers himself above rules that are for others?

The detail in the actual transfers of both Carrick and Berbatov are along the lines of making the most of the inevitable by Levy and it is the initial tapping up of both players in the first instance which leaves a nasty smell emanating from SAF when he sobs "cheat"

Berbatov was tapped up ... end of.
we weren't happy to sell him to anyone but the ****er went on strike and United were trying to get him on the cheap. City had just come into money and wanted to make a big name signing so offered £35m ... this forced uniteds hand.
Ferguson complained about Levy after that transfer too.

Carrick was went on England duty to the 2006 World cup (with united players) - united offered £10m - he demanded to go - we refused to let him until you paid £18m.

To imply we were happy to sell both is clearly bollocks.

United have spent years doing what the **** they want...Saha (fulham), Yorke (villa) both caused issues as did Rooneys transfer...then there was Stam admitting to being tapped up.

What makes this a joke is Ferguson has the ****ing gall to complain...we should be investigated???? **** me what a hypocritical twat that man can be...to pretend otherwise makes you look like an apologist for his inane ramblings

**** me, colin. I taking your ****ing point.

OK, maybe that's why we sing "We're Man Utd, we do what we want" ?

The truth is players force moves and money is a huge factor. Spurs don't care for the welfare of Fulham when paying Dembele's buy-out fee; nor Chelsea with Ba.

All clubs are ****ing sh*tes. There's no moral high ground. Just bigger dogs eating smaller ****ing dogs.

  10. I look at it this way.

The fact that we've so clearly pissed-off Fergie means that Levy must have done something right <ok>

It's OK, I didn't take offence at any point.

I understand the feelings SAF stirs up; but I know that any fan of any club would take him as their manager, even as a cantankerous 71 year old without hesitation.

Nope. Like Balotelli he's talented but also a total ****er so no, I would not have him at Spurs.

  15. Business is business I am afraid - and if you get caught out then you with put up (seek legal retribution) or shut up.
Bad mouthing opponents and business adversaries in open press is just pathetic. And I am afraid that that is the category Baconface and to a lesser extent Whinger fall into.
What surprises me is that the club let him loose with these outbursts. It should surely be the CEO or CFO who should be going public on business dealings????

Whatever - he is a cantankerous old twat and should shut the **** up!!

Wenger's talking out of his arse there, as usual. We had Chelsea bang to rights over Arnesen and were told to sort it out between us, basically.
With Berbatov we didn't have a 'legally watertight case', despite it being absolutely bloody obvious, so why would we pursue it further and screw the club up?
As various people have already mentioned, Jaap Stam admitted to being tapped up and the authorities still didn't do anything, so we all know what Man Utd are allowed to get away with.

United dropped Elite quick enough after the Beebs gander into the matter. Just so happened Ferguson's own son is one of the dirty scum Fergie alludes to <doh>

United were up to their balls in corrupt dealings and the beeb showed that.. yet nothing happened except the Beeb getting banned, no action against Fergie, No action after the serious allegations on C4's dispatches.

    Fergie is untouchable.

Sure three of them at that club have been accused of rape\sexual assault never mind dodgy transfer dealings, it will all as usual be swept under the carpet. PAYOFFS AND INFLUENCE, it's how they roll

The revelations that will come out about Fergie after he dies will be shocking at the very least. You can bet on that<ok>

Also, the fact that Berbatov traveled to Manchester, was picked up in Ferguson's Bentley and driven to Old Trafford for a tour before being taken to their training ground to meet his new teammates, all without Levy's knowledge or permission, before we were essentially told that they had Berbatov and we had better negotiate.

    That's not a transfer negotiation, that's kidnapping.
