Yeah but he was as surprised as us about that. Clearly we were in for someone better and that fell through, leaving us with no option but to go back for Yoshida. We aren't desperate for goalkeepers in the same way we were (and some would say still are) desperate for a centre-half.
For me, the keepers we want to target are Given and Mark Swartzer (I know poor spelling! Lol)
They both have Premiership experience, and would be the number 1 goalie at any club like ours.

What we don't need is a poor run of games from Boruc, a late realisation that he isn't up to it and a panic buy! I don't think we will sign a keeper this wondow, we will get a CB and possibly a L winger (mat phillips?).
I'm not so sure. Given has been on the slide for a while, and Schwarzer is having a weak season.

Hope so too. If he can turn in some consistent and good performances, he has the makings of a cult hero for sure.

Even if Artur puts in a string of **** performances, he's a cult hero to me, because he's funny.
Hes a national hero in Poland. You could count on one hand the amount of goal keepers who were actually better than him when he was at Celtic. Buffon, Casillas, Van Der Sar and Cesar? i cant think of any more. At 32 he should just be coming into his peak now, give him a run and i think he will be top draw.
I have a lot of belief that us fans will grow to love him, plus as long as it Keeps Gashaniga out the squad then im happy.
