Coisty made a comment after the game yesterday about the fact that he was delighted that 10 of the squad yesterday came through the ranks at Murray Park. Who have you been most impressed with out of the youngsters so far this season? For me MacLeod, McKay,Crawford and Heggarty have been my stand outs with MacLeod being probably the most consistent. They're certainly showing up some of our more experienced squad members in terms of enthusiasm and effort. Well done the weans!
I've given Kyle a hard time this season, but I have to give him a bit of credit in that he has been a wee bit better lately. Still not worth the money though. Sandaza needs to get a couple of goals in to regain his confidence.
Sandaza is pish, and the fact that he wants to bless himself makes me so ****ing angry. I think Lewis McLeod has been our best Midfielder this season, he's twice the player Black is who's been pretty ****e since joining.
Don't worry I don't think the blessing is ever going to happen the way he's going I would agree with you about Black he's been really disappointing. Kyle Hutton has also been far better than him. I expected a lot more from Black.
Black was ****e at Hearts.. I was suprised Sally signed him. Same goes for Sandaza... Best signings were Shields (an eye for goal) and Templeton - based om meeja reports as I've only see two Rangers game this season (Stirling and Motherwell)
In terms of youngsters - exactly what McCoist should have been doing - they're good enough to beat 3rd division players, build them up and have potentially have some great scottish players for the future.
The only problem with playing kids is that they are inconsistent. That comes with time and match experience; something that is inevitable over the next season or two. Was reading that the guys at 17 and 18 year old hadn't ever played under 21s let alone against full grown heifers.
Totally agree with you here. He seems to be kind of rotating them because of that and bringing them on from the bench. MacLeod is the only one who has played every game (bar the last two).
I've been impressed with MacLeod, McKay and Heggarty. Aird started well, but has tailed off and isn't playing so often. Crawford looks good so far but hasn't really played much.
