What will be the result of Wednesday's game between Liverpool & Sunderland?

If we can avoid the banana peel that is Mansfield, we could go into United with some serious confidence. Think the game itself is shaping up to be pretty epic.
 
Great result. Fantastic performance.

I really liked Allen as an impact sub in that position.

Suarez, Henderson, Gerrard, Johnson and Downing all done very well. Not a single bad performance out there tonight.

We moved the ball confidently and comfortably.

Rodgers is starting to really know his squad now. He has found out how to get the best out of Suarez, Gerrard, Henderson and Johnson.

Great start to the year. Lets make this a year to remember.
 
Johnson is a world class fullback, another top performance from him.

Suarez is unreal.

And I don't care what everyone says, I'm sticking by what I was saying months ago; Gerrard is still a quality player, sublime passing and vision.

My only criticism is with BR's substitutions. Why he didn't take Gerrard off and keep him fit for the next lot of tough games baffles me. Also why did he take Hendo off when he was playing well and needs game time more than anything else in his development. Nit picking, but still! <ok> Great performance today.

Agreed about your Allen point. He's getting some stick but played well when he came on and looks really hungry to do well.

I'd like to add Wisdom to that list too. Hasn't played in a while and looked really good. As did Reina too.

A good game to get the confidence flowing.
 
I'd imagine the likes of Gerrard and Suarez will get a week and a half's rest, good response to the Stoke defeat, I think that's 5 wins in the last 7 PL games, not bad.
 
looks like Gerrard and Suarez are begining to get an understanding, like Stevie had with Torres

Good chance for Sturridge to start as well, first game against weaker team that we should beat - might get a couple of goals and start his Liverpool career on a high,

Obviously because gerrard won't be playing against mansfield, but Hendo will.

The worst one tonight was the Wax Vax for removing "water and dirt" from ears. It is $10 for two clearly a quality product but advertised as safer than using a cotton bud.
 
If Craig revel Horwood was judging that he he would say

" DOM-I-NENT! Daahling!!

And he would be right...probably even more convincing than the QPR and Fulham wins. Good that we are beating the type of team that would usually drop points against.

Gerrard will get the weekend off most likely with it being FA Cup.

Henderson has been ill so probably is maybe a bit tired.

Gerrard is playing world class football at the moment. He is in fine form. Great passing, great movement, goals and assists.
