The result against Dundee a few days ago counts for nothing. Truly, they are ****e. Today's match against Dundee Utd might offer a better glimpse of what we might reasonably expect for the rest of the season. Take that back. Apologise. Move on. It's the only way I see us getting through this. (I suggest you predict a 2-2 draw if you can't bring yourself to predict an Aberdeen win. There's a good chap.)
Do you ever wonder what all those people are doing now? I do. I mean, some of them were wholly convinced that the end of the world was upon us. Psychologically, how on earth do they salvage anything from the wreckage of their heartbreakingly feeble minds? I worry about them. If they still find themselves yearning for the company of those with minds susceptible to fear and bullshit, they might consider going through the doors of any church. Stereo's new prediction: 2-2.
The epic banner features the timeless quote from world-famous football luminary Alfredo Di Stefano, manager of the Real Madrid team beaten by the Dons in the final of the European Cup Winners Cup in 1983. There is no greater compliment than appreciation from one of the game's true greats, and the banner will be a constant reminder that Aberdeen have a unique place in history - and the contents of the statement are as poignant and relevant today as they have ever been. The banner has also been signed by some famous Dons fans, club players and legends, and supporters from up and down the country. please log in to view this image [/IMG] Crowd prediction ---13500 Score ----------2 - 1 The Dandies. AFC new banner to be unfurled at todays game.
Well, this is looking pretty bad at the moment. 2-1 down at half-time and only 44% of the possession. I've only just seen the BBC stats, however, so have no real idea what the game has been like. I need to go and find a link..... (Langfield own-goal. Great.)
This is ****en woeful, bossed the first 20 mins then been run ragged. Disnae help when clangers makes another howler FFS. Good to see young Ryan Fraser back playing & heard there's a new offer on the table fae AFC. Hope he signs it. COYR.
Langfield. It certainly looks fairly dross, J-Rep. I've found a link, although I don't understand the language and there only appears to be one working camera (situated in the 'Beach End'), which feels very disconcerting. There is no sense of depth or perspective. (Edit: okay, some more cameras have come into play. Still, it was an interesting experience......goal! Belter. 2-2. Stereo's prediction is looking good.)
Nice one, thanks. (You're back?) I've never been able to get one of those firstrow links to work before. Not sure why. I've been using usagoals.com, which is great - except for the fact that I couldn't understand a word of the commentary today. You have surely just come to the rescue and saved my world from collapsing. If Aberdeen lose, I will be forced to blame you. (I'd have no idea if I was watching in Hungarian, after all. Stands to reason.)
Start counting the crowd, then, you dobber. Do something useful. (Very dodgy at the back, yes. I was thinking that myself. I felt sure we had ironed those problems out. My mistake. Then again, Considine is a bit of a loss.)
Not a peep. The BBC tend to keep us waiting for these things. It's an agony. I've got a bad feeling about this game. (I'm hoping this display of reverse psychology will dupe baby Jesus into giving us the win.)
Ah well played better second half, unlucky not to get the win. Off to the pub to drown sorrows or Langfield if I see him.
