Well, completely rolling his eyes into the back of his head, pulling rather odd faces, and permanently twitching his face it seemed. His eyes are creepy as feck when he does some sort of glazed-over stare. And he was laughing to himself after mistakes.

He's clearly a bit nuts, and to be honest it's a miracle that we drew a game as big as that with the way he was in the 1st half. However, he improved as the game went on and he's going to need a bit of a run if he is to get his confidence back. He has also shed a fair bit of weight since he first waddled onto the pitch for us. My preference out of the 3 is still Gazza (although that is a bit like asking whether I would like to be strangled, stabbed or beaten to death) but we need to stop this GK roulette at some point, it's getting ridiculous. I don't think Butland is the answer, throwing him balls deep into a relegation scrap isn't exactly the best way to blood a promising young keeper in the Premier League. We already have a promising young keeper in Gazza, at least he has already felt the pressure and expectation on his shoulders. Butland would be another massive roll of the dice we can ill afford, and to me feels more like a business transaction with Cortese hoping his future value is going to soar.
