So would it work like -

--------------New striker----------------

Ben Arfa-------Krancjar------------Jonas

?

Looks damn good to me! Ben Arfa and Kranjcar can interchange. Tiote & Barton controlling the midfield, Nolan can also fit into that line-up for when players get suspended or injured or games v the likes of Wolves, Brum etc which he relishes.

Or put another way, games where the pace is slower and he can get involved more.

Kev I don't mean it mate, I love you really

We need some flair players like this kid... someone who isnt afraid to go and beat a player.... we only really have jonas that does that at the moment..

Maybe Ben arfa when he returns but to early to say

He's only not getting games due to the form of Bale, Van der Vaart and Modric - no shame in that. When he plays he is quality.

Bale and Van der Vaart have been ****e since about November/December. So with a quality back up apparently why haven't they been dropped.

Bale will never be dropped as long as he's fit (for Spurs). And I dunno about VdV, maybe he would of kicked off? Wouldn't surprise me

Even though he has been anonymous. And injured a lot of the season. Even when Bale is injured Kranjcar ain't had a look in.

Redknapp trying to keep the peace as Van der Vaart would've kicked off. Bad for squad morale. And they haven't been that bad since Christmas - allbeit a bit stop start due to various injuries of different severity. They just seem to be playing 'badly' due to how brilliant they were early on.

And he's also a star man for Croatia. He's scored against world super powers such as Malta, Andorra, Kazakhstan, Scotland and Brazil....

Would love him !!

definitely the type of player Pards has mentioned we need, very versatile also ! can play central or wide either side. would mean we can go 4-3-3 or 4-5-1 with the versatility Him and Benny would bring to the side.

He's PL quality (proven !) and he has a point to prove which I like in a player personally

I can't wait to see him wearing the number 11 shirt next season ;)

That ain't got **** to do with anything. Tiote wasn't having a look-in at Twente remember...

Redknapp obviously rates Bale and VDV as better players. They're idols of the club at the moment, and the team is built around players like them and Modric. They ain't ever gonna be dropped even in a poor run of form. Just like how we would never drop Nolan or Barton if they had a bad spell.

There's no way in hell that anyone can seriously conclude the quality of a player based on how many first team appearances they get in other clubs. It's really worth actually looking at the player and looking at the quality directly.

PS: Just look at this for an example:
Kranjčar has found difficulty being chosen in starting line-ups, due to the rise in prominence of Gareth Bale, who also plays in his position. Whilst Bale has been out injured, Tottenham started with Kranjčar in two back-to-back matches and he scored the winner in both, against Bolton Wanderers in a 2-1 victory at White Hart Lane, and away to Sunderland in another 2-1 victory.

The fact that 'Arry STILL won't choose him after that really makes my point. He'll never, ever budge from prioritising players like Modric, VDV and Bale in the first team.
