Was thinking more of the work ethics of his team-mates - you can't rely on Nugent as your main scorer as his career stats make him a goal every 3 games player
Wood very rarely sets up chances for others - off hand I can think of only 1 goal he has set up, there might be a couple more but really can't remember them - Henderson did a lot of the donkey work for him when he first came and set up quite a few for him and he was scoring at almost 1 a game, since Henderson got injured his scoring rate has gone down (think he was 7 in 8 at one time) so 4 in 11 since

No, it's because we don't really have someone who can get the ball down and hold it and Wood can do just that.

A goal every 3 games puts a striker at 15 goals a season. Hardly a bad return for a free transfer.
He's got 26 in 60 games for us.
Besides. we have about 5 players capable to getting 10+ goals a season.
