if what pete is saying is correct that we matched Leicester £ for £ in all departments including wages then all i have to say to wood is you are a mug!!

The money Leicester have will mean if they get promotion wood will move down their ranks very rapid when they bring in big players once they are up <ok>


He couldnt make it at W.B.A. in the prem so why does he think he will at Leicester <doh>

He'll hope they don't go up this season just to got more games next season! <laugh>

So he might as well as stayed with us! <doh>
 
It shows ambition but should we be worried that we're offering £20k a week wages as it's a very slippery slope only on 10k/12k crowds <ok>

Different if we're selling out every home even if the away showing is **** <ok>

Isnt the club he left already in the premiership <doh>
If he had no hope with W.B.A. He will have less hope with Leicester and thats IF they go up <doh>

To be fair to Wood - we don't know what was being whispered in his ear from his agent etc - don't think the decision was entirely his - perhaps Leicester were willing to give his agent more dosh<ok>

More dosh all round - JB offered WBA a take it or leave it £1M final offer - Leicester doubled that.
We offered to match his WBA £20k pw wage - Leicester lumped on another 50%.
We made a £3.6M loss last season, they made a £15M loss.
We are 1 point behind them in the league because we have Jackett and they have that clown Pearson.

Wood is in the form of his life at the moment because of KJ and the Wall mentality - give him a month with Pearson and his overpaid overpriced prima-donna's and his value will be back to £500K like it was before he came to us <ok>
 
At a guess his agent whispered "go to Leicester" <ok>

Who do we want KJ to sign then?
Church has been mentioned, and some bloke in Scotland who's scoring a lot of goals or maybe we do a Liverpool and sign no one.
 
Just read we're after Lewis Grabban. Not sure we should be after a player who we considered not good enough a few years back. He has done well at Bournemouth but not the same as playing in the Championship.
 
To be honest all the names being punted around mean nothing KJ will have someone in mind and we probably wont know who that is until they sign <ok>
