Saints fan in peace. Your team are in a good run of form and seem particularly strong at home. That said we will be looking to dent your defensive record on Saturday and get some much needed points. Shawcross will be a big loss for you IMO. Is Upson his likely replacement?
Shawcross is a miss to them but I cannot see us getting anything. I feel sure Jones will get one against us, if not Crouch!
You are right Shawcross we will miss but Upson may play? He was on the bench last night but who knows what T.P. will do. He is the obvious replacement re Upson. I really hope you do come and attack us. Sunderland just came for the pt fair play to them and they got a pt. As we Stoke usually do away from home. You won't be underestimated by Pulis either. IMHO you are better than the other teams around you. But, if you do " go for the win" it may well be another cracking game. After this weekend all the best.
Hard game this one after yesterdays match. Hope were up for it as much as last nights game. Saints will give us a good game and can create chances but u always feel that u can score against them. Wont predict a score but wud be disappointed if we lost Just hope the boys arent to tired they almost ran themselves into the ground last night
Yes they did that but.. We do have Jerome and Crouch who are fit and ready, plus Adam may feel he can take part. We can rotate the team now, unlike a couple of season back! It would surprise me, if Crouch did'nt start as Saints are vunerable at the back. That said, no game is (an easy game) at least they will be well drilled, organised and should we win this game I would be well pleased. KTF one and all, remember confidence is one thing you can not buy, last nights result/performance means all the lads will be confident but I'm sure Tony Pulis will be wary, so he should be.
As far as im aware its 5 bookings. Shame to break up the fine parntership of huth and shawcross but for one game I think things cud be worse lol Upson I take it will take his place in the team Any news on Adam yet I assume that with the circumstances it wont be till at least early new year and rightly so if he not ready. I reckon Upson is better for a goal than Shawcross from a corner or set piece so it could pay us to have him in the squad.
I'm not as worried about Shotton famous last words! Let's just hope for a good game. Good luck for the rest of the season. After 5pm tomorrow obviously!
Yes Ryan and GC will be out and they are huge losses but it will still be strong and organised. Shotton will play full back and Upson centre half so we will still look pretty good I reckon. Won't be easy and Southampton will come to make it difficult, playing 5 in the middle I reckon but I think we'll sneak it 2-0.
It's having the two changes at the back that may cause us problems, still think we will have enough for a win.
